Thread: Ok, the new formula, ROUGHLY, to the new buffs on TC

So, i made a couple of tests:

Base buff pack 535, enhance with a 110 med droid and 114 boosted wound treatment:

1259

Base buff pack 535 in hospital without a droid and without BE clothing (100/100):

1070, that's the base * 2

I believe it goes base * 2 * wound treatment/100 * med rating/100

I cannot get, however, the exact results, i'm still fiddling with it, BUT, with 100/100 to rating and wound treatment, it is double the base stat buffed, and this is the same for 2 different packs with the same base stat.


So atm, buffing is sorely based on your BE clothing and your base buff stat


As for experimenting, i didn't notice a real difference, it's subtle, very subtle...

I forgot to add about the new fire blanket:


Availaible at crafting 4, requires:


26 of rori vegetable fungi (????!!!!!)


44 aluminium (any)


2 identical synth cloth from crate


2 identical BECs...

Interesting... our first dependance on another crafting profession. No big complaint from me on that.

Your initial buff test results appear to be exactly in line with what we expected. The old buff rate was 1x to 3x the base buff rate modified by treatment skill andlocation (or droid). Now it's 2x. Good info.

It makes sense for a blanket too. But of course one of my alts is tailor so I won't complain

So with some 900 base packs, +25 BE clothing, +25bivoli, anda 110 droidyou would get 900 * 2 * 1.5 * 1.1 = 2970? I'll be happy with that.

Jason, in theory yes, except it seems the equation with the clothes and droid buffs seem off a bit... It may be either a bug or i am not accountign for something


But without ANY mods buff, it's 2 X base, so it's AT LEAST that, and it can be more...

It may only be about 2475 (900 * 2.5 * 1.1). I don't believe that is is 2 * base * treatment/100 but rather base * (1 + treatment/100), which ends up being lower (the effect of the BE and bivoli is essentially halved).


Anyway, the first result posted doesn't actually quite match either situation (thoughother factorslike battle fatigue of receipient are unstated), but it's close.

I smell a renewed interest in Be clothing... Plus, you can now advertise the precise number wich your buff will do, guaranteed, no more "bad" buffs, etc...


I think it's good overall! Now to test this fire blanket... *is on rori harvesting fungi with surveying 1* It's so SLOWWWWW


And then, combat droids

Well i had 6 battle fatigue... maybe that's throwing off the equation by just enough to fool me

the enhancment corresponds perfectly to using the full bonus of the droid (1.1x) and half of the be clothing bonus(instead of 1.14x it's 1.07x) this does give a result of 1259.

The market for avian meat just got even tougher... lol... :-)


For clarification: 535 x 2 x 1.1 x 1.07 = 1259

Thank you darth! Well there you have it! This is your formula, if you want to "test" it with a 50 BE clothes enhancement, it goes:


Base Buff Stat on the pack * 2 * Med rating * Skill


Med rating is 100/100 = 1for a hospital, 110/100 = 1.1for a MED droid that has 110 rating...


Skill is = (1+ ((Skill bonuses/2)/100))
