Don't bother using advanced LS's (or use crummy ones if you don't have any basic ones handy) because experimenting on power means little to nothing on rez kits.
However, I would recommend using the best advanced BEC's you have available. Using an advanced BEC with 20 charges will yield a rez kit with roughly 12 more charges than using a basic BEC with 8 charges. Then, spend all of your experimentation points on charges as, like I said earlier, power means little and, with Novice Docs having 55 Med Use, virtually any rez pack will be usable by a Master Surgeon.

Thanks guys, just wanted confirmation that I wasn't missing anything. I am using normal LS, and the ABEC's I use are significantly better than my normal ones as stated by the previous post.

Just set of a run of res kits in the factory and have a few questions:
Whats the crate size for res kits? I'll find out in about 3 hours but thought I'd ask while I'm here.
It lets you experiment on med use level, but I didn't bother as I can't imagine anyone with the skill to res, wouldn't have enough of the other skill boxes to far exceed the base med use requirement.
So I put in all my points into charges, and ended up with 31 per kit. Is this decent?
Does it make any difference to the number of charges if I don't use ABEC's? I made them with but if I'm going to get the same number of charges, I won't bother.
Finally, the stats you get for the wound/health restored per use, is this random? I can see no way to improve these and I noticed wildly different numbers on an amazing success over a success.

- Crate size for all meds seems to be 50.
- 31 uses is very well done.
- Depends on the qualify of your ABEC's and how it compares to the quality of plain BEC's you can make.
- I haven't noticed any ability to control the heal stats, but I may be wrong.
