Mynocks on Lok, they look like avians, they move like avians, but they drop herbivore meat.

Gleaming Lantern Birds on Endor, they have wings, they make a flapping noise when they move, but they drop herbivore meat.

Are there any mission I can do that have a decent payout, and dropavian meat?

EDIT: oops just re-read my post, changed herbivore to avian in the last sentence. I've got a 20k stack of herbivore already

If you want decent mission payouts and herbivore meat, head to Dantooine. You can either do Pikets, Bols or Thunes. The best part is that on Dantooine if you are solo the Pikets drop between 60 - 100 meat based on your harvesting. I have gathered over 6K meat in a short night (read: 3 hours) of hunting.

The Piket missions I get solo pay around 9400 Creds... the Bols pay about 6900 creds.... not sure about Thunes.

It is not outside the realm of possibility to gather a nice 20K stack of meat over a weekend if you can play that much.

I think Pereleks (sp?)on Lok are Avian, and Gurks are Herbivore. I'm heading to Lok tonight to gather some Avian meat. Gurk missions are usually 8K-9K payouts, but when you attack one, all will attack you.

Get this....Reptilian fliers on Dathomir are avian. Gleaming lantern birds are herbivore

Yeah I agree, it doesn't make much sense. Perleks and flits, as well as the small chicken-like things (forgot their name lol) drop Avian on LoK. It's still IMO the best place to get avian meat in the game, and I'm always pretty happy when there is a good spawn there.

Stupid question but... are peko pekos avians?

Yes, Peko Pekos are Avian meat. They probably drop the most avian meat of any creature in the game, but they can be hard to find for hunting.
