I just got done doing some experiments and calculations that show pretty well that the use of Janta Blood in buff packs is pretty useless. For as rare as it is, and the lack of meaningful quantity it drops in, its just not worth it, except, perhaps unless you have a large guild that does nothing but collect it. Here are the numbers using not the best, but very decent resources available on wanderhome:
Straight Buff
Base: 869
Wound treatment: 100
BE clothing: +25
Bivoli Tempari: +25
Med Droid: 110
Buff Strength (post-patch): 2390 (rounded up)

Base: 869
Wound treatment: 100
BE clothing: +25
Bivoli Tempari: 00
Med Droid: 110
Buff Strength (post-patch): 2151 (rounded up)
Janta Buff (100/10)
Base: 944
Wound Treatment: 100
BE clothing: +25
Bivoli Tempari: +25
Med Droid: 110
Buff Strength (post -patch): 2596
Janta Buff (100/10)

BE clothing: +25
Bivoli Tempari: 00
Med Droid: 110
Buff Strength (post -patch): 2336
So what does this show us? Just addition or removal of good quality Bivoli Tempari in the buff routine makes MORE difference than the addition of an incredibly rare loot drop added to the enhancement pack. As things stand now, its just not worth the time or expense to go after this stuff. Not only is the additional power not enough to make a real difference in the final outcome, it comes at the LACK of charges in the enhancement pack. Pretty much a lose/lose proposition. The only thing its really good for is bragging rights, or that 1 in 100 customer who would pay 50k (or more) to get above the psychological 2500 enhancement. Many of us have known this, or suspected it for quite some time. Here are the numbers to prove it. Janta Blood needs to change. Whether it needs to be more common, more powerful, or drop in greater identicle quantities (or some combination), it needsa change for it to be even close to worthwhile to hunt down or buy.

There is no change to duration. Both sets came out with, I think, 10675 duration. The duration and power of the packs is still based entirely on the quality of the resources used. The Janta Blood simply provides a bonus to the power, at the expense of a charge experimented bio effect controller. Again... no change in duration is found by using Janta Blood.

It's not only janta blood.. It's just the formula that is too linear to make it worth investing in excellent resources to make very good packs, because the difference of cost just isn't worth it for the actual difference that we get in buffs.

SWG is getting mroe and more loto drops... The idea is not to camp X to get Y, but to get Y while you happen to be killing X. it will take a while, but there will be more and varied medical loot drops (and stuff for other people too).
Bivolli +25 is a full quarter of the buff pack value. Which means you get more points, the higher the pack value.
Bivoli + janta is effectively (using your numbers) +50.... bivoli and janta come out with almost equal buffs. so that makes them both = to +25... thoug hthere is a few more points added fro using bivoli on a janta pack.
For some people that amount (200-300 points in a buffpack, can be very important, after randomness goes out tomorrow).,. With armor, and mitigation 200 points can be important.
Especially when we keep in mind the new combat balance in Pub 8, and the new special bars (which are based on your HAM).... How many more specials can you do with 250 more special move Health or action?

Also, keep in mind that those 100/10's are the "common" bloods--i.e., the lowest that it can be. The 172 power set I looted made a hefty increase in the power of a couple packs. They will be 2 of the few packs to land a 3k buff post patch. They are worth getting, but by no means are they worth farming endlessly for,

At eclipse I can hit up to 960+ power with best resources availlable if you add 100 - 170 janta blood to that it's quite you can come up to 1100 power enhance packs with luck. Nice to have but not mandatory.
