Thanks for a response. But The only reason i /tell the doc is to let him/her know I want a buff very few docs that are infront of my favorite starport have an actual line its usualy more of a mob around the doc. If you don't speak up you don't get buffed, so I throw them a quick /Can (may ) I get a buff? Or a /Can I get in line? Simply as a way to get the docs attention so he know I want a buff. In fact this is the only place I have ever even seen that it bothers other docs. I have never had a doc get testy with me about it in game.

I do the majority of my buffing in front of the Coronet spaceport, and thus easily miss the requests if they are sent through spatial. I have my /tell messages in a separate window, though, so I mainly depend on tells to know who's interested, and wants to get in line.

However, I'm not running a kindergarden (or a soup nazi), so I dont make my customers stand in a neat line, and step forward when it's theirturn.I just keep a list of who contacted me in which order, and after removing the previous patient from the list, I state who's next, and in what order. That way, everyone knows how many people are before them, and approximately how long they have to wait.If they are not on the list, they can quickly ask to get on it.

What I really need is a nurse, to keep track of the new requests, and give me an updated list after every couple patients. I'd be willing to pay up to 25% of my per patient fee if someone were to provide that service for me. Then, I could just set myself up as AFK, put the information into my AFK message, and concentrate on my current patient.

Another alternativewould bean automated ticket dispenser built into my 2-1B surgical droid, so that I can simply say which number is next, and they could just show me their ticket.

so i just got master doc yesterday after about 2 or 3 days of grinding from medic to doc...i wanted to make some D enhancement buffs for all 6 stats..but other then myself (i had high battle fatigue at the time) i needed a guinea pig to test them on preferably with no or little BF and wounds so i could get a goof feel for how these would turn out.

I go to the mining outpost on dantooine and watch a few mins as people ran about their business i was radomly diagnosing people for a good candiate.

Found one..

me: /tell person heya i was wondering if you could do me a favor? I just hit doc last night i need a willing test subject for these buffs..not sure how they will do so they are free until i know how they will be.

person: sure

me: *start buffing*

person: /tip 8000

me: thanks but you didnt have to tip me for those since i had no idea how well they would do (they turned out to be 1900 - 2025 across the board)

person: i know but keep it i appreciate them, oh btw can i add you to my friends list incase you're near later?

me: sure but i may not always be available

person: thats cool, thanks again.

2things i liked about this experience was even though i told him was free he tipped me anyway and then he asked me before adding me to his friends list that part was soo nice i almost tipped him his money back LOL

PistolPaknPapa wrotek, the Ten questions I can uderstand being upset with....after hearing anything for the 10,000th time it will get old. I just don't see how you can get upset at "thx", "plz", "ty", "yw"...etc. To me this is a sign of being a nit-picker at best, but more like a whiner. If someone is spamming Plz, Plz, plz....add infinitium then sure...that is upsetting. But a casual "thx" shouldn't be a problem.

And saying "if I have to take the time to sit there and buff you, you caould at least spend the time to hit all the keys to say "please" and 'thank you"". I mean seriously, if you were only there for said person then YES you could ask that, but the truth is you are there for money. To me, a person taking the time to say "Thanks" or "thx" means the exact same thing, and is definately nothing to take personal or even as a serious problem. Maybe you need to start paying them to spell out the whole word, that should correct the problem (maybe not). but definately put down the glass (the whiney glass that is) and find a serious complaint (Lord knows there are plenty of others to find .... liekk the 10 in the original post)

You gotta draw the line somewhere "U AM BUF ME NOW!11" just isn't going to fly. "Heal me plz"? Spell "Please". You certainly have the time to spell out the whole word as you'll be waiting for auto-heal otherwise...

I haven't dealt with any /tell-buff asshats yet, but it's coming I'm sure. Especially as I charge 10k for my subpar buffs when I am on Adventure Worlds. Price of disturbing my hunting...

Oh I just love it when I'm running around wearing full composite armor and heavily armed with a sword or stun baton and some idiot is like "hey do you buffing?" - Um ... do I look like I'm buffing right now? Yeah... I buff people while wearing full battle armor and running around with my AT-ST out...

Ah I gave up I usually either pull my tag when I'm traveling or hunting or charge them enough to make it worth the wait.I charge 10k when I'm buffing in Coronet and 15-20k when I'm hunting. What I hate is when they see me and my group getting missions and they spam tell me asking for buffs.Had to put a couple of them on ignore.
