okay the command is actually /heal self and yes combat does slow down your healing if you can try to /peace and quit attacking if you wish to heal quickly. But that won't always work especially if the creature is agro. you should try to get a non-CH pet and have it attack first to distract the creature.

Personally, I just keep my stimpack on my toolbar right next to a peace command. That way, if I ever need a quick heal, I just click peace and then click the stim right next to it. Once the stim drops on me, I open fire again. Perhaps someone else has a more streamlined approach, but that has always been a good solution for me.

The FAQ recommends that you craft Chemical Release Duration Mechanisms (8 Organic + 8 Chemical) or Solid Delivery Shells (8 Organic + 8 Metal) all the way to novice doctor or all the way through doctor as well. When I craft either, I get 36 crafting xp. But when I craft Biological Effect Controller, I also get 36 crafting xp and the BEC only require 6 organic and 6 inorganic where as the other 2 require 8 organic and 8 inorganic.

Am I missing something or is it better to build BEC's?

Yes, but if you get the same amount of xp from crafting a Biological Effect Controller and that only require 6 Organic and 6 Inorganic, isn't it better to craft them up until Organic Chemistry 4?
Also, the Chemical Release Duration Mechanisms and Solid Delivery Shells aren't available until Organic Chemistry 2 where as Biological Effect Controller is available at Novice Medic.

When I compared the Biological Effect Controller and Solid Delivery Shells, both gave me 36 medicine crafting experience.

ah, I see the point your trying to make.

ill check and verify that BEC gives the same as CRDMs or SDSs, and if its so, ill edit that section.

Yes, crafting any of the basic subcomponents yeilds the same amount of crafting xp. I noticed it some time ago and forgot to make the update to the FAQ.

Based on that, crafting BEC's or LS's would be more effective than CRDM's or SDS's up to Organic Chem 4.

Im going to be putting some serious work into the three FAQ sections this weekend.

Basically I am planning on spending most of saturday morning reorganizing, clarifying, and adding to the three FAQs

If anyone has topics and items they want covered, please post them and I will see what I can do.

Theres one better way to level up in doctor, but it requires wound treatment 4. After you get wound treatment 4, group with a friend, duel him, death blow him, rez him, and then heal him. It also helps if you buff their action and health before hand. If they are buffed, you get about 800 xp for rezing and 400 xp for healing them. If you do this over and over, you can get about 1400 xp per minute. Its hard to make a macro, but with xp that quick i dont think you need it. The only problem I had was my mind kept draining, so it might be better to get entertainer and food buffed, and then do it in the cantina so you can get healed quicker.

Thanks. Very impressive work. Could you add somethings about medical droids or a pointer to such.
