Normally if you stay by a starport and a shuttleport, you will see a line of people standing around for buffs and a doctor is usually standing in front of that line with his droid out. And MOST of the time, he will be advertising that hes buffing. If a doctor is in "search people" and you know theres a doctor around but you dont see him buffing around the starport or cantina, its most likely hes NOT buffing and doesnt want to be bothered.
I only go to starports for buffs, and i allways look for the buff animationfroma toon with a bot out. And i allways still ask if they are buffing cause 1 out of 10 times they are on the last of their buffs or they are getting ready to dash. And besides its a way to get the docs aware that I need a buff. I could be one of the masses of people that just go to the starport to spam or look for something to buy. How is a doc going to know I want a buff if i don't ask "can I get a buff" or "Can I get in line" every doc does things differently some put you in a line others do it by tells some do it by email.

Ok, the Ten questions I can uderstand being upset with....after hearing anything for the 10,000th time it will get old. I just don't see how you can get upset at "thx", "plz", "ty", "yw"...etc. To me this is a sign of being a nit-picker at best, but more like a whiner. If someone is spamming Plz, Plz, plz....add infinitium then sure...that is upsetting. But a casual "thx" shouldn't be a problem.
And saying "if I have to take the time to sit there and buff you, you caould at least spend the time to hit all the keys to say "please" and 'thank you"". I mean seriously, if you were only there for said person then YES you could ask that, but the truth is you are there for money. To me, a person taking the time to say "Thanks" or "thx" means the exact same thing, and is definately nothing to take personal or even as a serious problem. Maybe you need to start paying them to spell out the whole word, that should correct the problem (maybe not). but definately put down the glass (the whiney glass that is) and find a serious complaint (Lord knows there are plenty of others to find .... liekk the 10 in the original post)

some of the sarcastic replies though make me think of 'the Quon' who any of you that used to play everquest may know of, he was a guy that pretended to be a cleric who was extremely funny while being greedy arrogant and selfish, sounds bad but was tounge in cheek "Are you buffing?" - 4 Docs

NOT ONE Doc told me nothing annoys them, they all told me pretty straight away LOL

I run my buffing macro. Notice that is says can't buff on 2 stats. AKA He didn't let his other buffs run out.
Me: Didn't let me buff somestats.
Customer: Fine.
(Shuttle has been sitting for 2 min. I quickly leave on shuttle.)
Customer: (Tell) You didn't buff 2 of my stats.
Me: (tell) It wouldn't let me, I told you.
Customer: (tell) I want some of my money back.
Me: (tell) Fine. (refunds 2k)
Customer: (tell) 10k for 4 buffs you have to be kidding me.
Me: (tell) *Insert long explanation of it being his fault, all very nicely of course, and pointing out that I already refunded his ass*
Gotta wonder about some people.
I'm covert Rebel one day and I get this tell conversation going:
Overt Imp: Hey can you rez me? I'm at (wp)
Me: (put him on hold for a bit, had a small buff line, didn't know he was an Imp yet. Finally go look for him nearby) "Um, for an Overt Imp? I think not."
Overt Imp: "What??? Why not? I'll give you 10k I promise!"
Me: "It's not my choice, you're on the wrong side of this war."
Overt Imp: "But I saidI'll pay you! And I promise I will head to Tyrena and not come back here as soon as you do it!"
Me: "It's out of my hands, I'm sorry."
Overt Imp: "Why are you being such an a______? Come on man, I'll give you 20k, please hurry!"
Me: "Forget it, just clone, or find an Imp Doc, I can't help you."
Overt Imp: "G__D_____!!! Come on, ask yourself, 'What would Luke do?'"
Me: (no response now, long pause)
Overt Imp: "Fine, you want to be a jerk, go ahead. You better not ever let me catch you alone!"
Me: (Noticing his BH tag) "Umm, I don't think a BH is going to last too long against a Teras Kasi Master, so you should hope you never have to make good on that threat."
Overt Imp: (after a pause) "Come on man, please rez me!! Please I'm begging you!"
