First of all--we have 2 correspondents who work well for us (thanks Z & T), so please quit the attacks.

Second, in case you were curious here is what our buffs will land for with the new publish as it stands now:

(These are for MD using 110 droid with +25 BE clothing, as many here are in practice)

600 base pack = 1485 buff

650 base pack = 1608.75 buff

700 base pack = 1732.5 buff

750 base pack = 1856.25 buff

800 base pack = 1980 buff

850 base pack = 2103.75 buff

900 base pack = 2227.5 buff

950 base pack = 2351.25 buff

1000 base pack = 2475 buff

With Bivoli on top of the above doctor stats, some numbers are (too lazy to retype them all now):

800 base pack = 2173.6 buff

900 base pack = 2445.3 buff

1000 base pack = 2717 buff

I would like to see these a tad bit higher, but that is what we have on TC now.

I wish I knew how to edit a post. The Bivoli I based that on was 22%, so if you have 25% you get a bit better result.

thanks for the numbers. all my buff packs are 900+ power. your telling me that i will be guranteed over 2400 every single buff???!!! thats freakin awesome! ill take that all day long. i buffed myself the other day for 3k in 4 stats and 2200+ in the other 2 stats. sure ill miss that buff, but that buff only lasted for 3 hours! i buffed myself earlier today under the same conditions as before and hit 1300 in 2 stats and only went over 2200 in 1 stat. lol. does anyone realize how pleased customers would be if they were guranteed even 1800 in every stat every time they got buffed? i think some of you are too spoiled with the occasional uber roll. i played this game for 2 months straight before i even heard of a "buff". i enjoyed it just as much then as i do now. buffs are just a perk. if they go for as high as 2000+ guranteed in every stat, thats incredible. stop complaining and be thankful we still get to provide the most powerful modifier in the game. this will also help the pricing structure. if my buffs are better than everyone else at the location im buffing at, then no one can complain about my prices being higher. if they arent more powerful than others, then i can either move to a different spot or charge less.

I sense the dark side in you.........

Vinaddar,

Janta Blood for buffs will only add 100 points more or less to the base buff...

So all the work for the rare blood drop, I know I cleared the cave twice and the village (nada a drop of blood), its only gonna add 247 total points to the end result. Not worth the effort I am sure. I would like to use my blood packs before the next change as it seems they will not be as uber.

Just sad to think about. I dont mind removing the vairability, but give me a reason tofindto the uber stuff. I thouht this issue would of been votedupon and added to the list.

Where do therest of Doc the top 5 issues for Docstand?

And of course, the number 1 issue for Docs for months has been a limited form of survey.....any discussion on that with the profession?

Exactly my point here. Why should I bother to get my usual 870 packs again if the only difference will be mere 150 points?

Then again, on average (including all the awesome and all the bad buffs we are getting with the current variability) that minor difference was the only difference before anyway. In other words nothing would really changed when considering the average.

I knew that was coming. I'd almost made the decision to stop making high-base packs. When you buff low, it's depressing and then when another doctor charging more with lesser base packs hits for a higher value it's demoralising.

The current system is almost universally despised by most serious doctors. I was hoping for a better system. Static buffs are a step forward I think but the implementation is too simplistic. The differentiation between a good enhance pack and a bad enhance pack is very small. Perhaps this is a good thing for the game overall, but it takes a lot of the challenge and reward away from those doctors striving for very high quality enhancements. Maybe the new experimentation rules will help. We will see.

Believe me, the difference between a good and bad enchance D pack is not small.

What you may think is a bad pack, may slide on the scale a bit.

While testing this, I only had access to 2 mid grade advance components and a pretty good standard compnent, as well as 180 OQ 368 PE Avian meat.

I was producing 280 something Enchance D's as a master doc.

With the same ehh components and 900 quality general materials for an Action D (becasue asction can use general, [yeah it is on the bug list], I was making 760 packs.

One is very different then the other.

600-700 packs were never bad packs... peopel just thought they were... I can make Buff B's that were better then my Ds due to just bad meat.

Personally I will take a set number every time, now I actually get what I pay for when I get my packs. No more of the guy next to me using a 800 pack while I use a 930 and he hit higher! Yes the ocassional 3k+ hit was nice but the ocassional 1200 hit sucked and I felt bad if it hit while buffing a friend. So I hope the formula does go live.........

That is my point. 600-700 packs are bad packs in my view when compared to the time, effort and money one must expend to make 850-950 base. The differentiation in the actual buff isn't that great and yet the time, effort and cost to make high quality enhancements is. Once one achieves consistently high base packs the only incentive left is reward. Putting myself in the shoes of the recipient I am hardly likely to pay a high price for a buff when I can getguaranteed buff of slightly less power for half the price.

I swear to God, they devs hate us and everyone who plays this game. Will the game ever be **edit**ing complete untill every **edit**ing skill and everyclass has been nerfed. And when will you people learn, they NEVER MAKE THINGS BETTER. All you whinny ass doctors screaming and crying about how your buffs didn't come out to exaclty an average are getting us nerfed. I garuntee that if you average all your buffs, it will be worse next publish. There has never been a publish to make things better, only nerfs nerfs nerfs, and thats all it will ever be. Too damn many whinny little brats on these boards getting everythign nerfed left and right. Maybe its just me, but the number of nerfs this game has seen, compared to the amout of fun content added is dreadful. All you lilttl crying babies keep crying for nerfs, soon you can sit there in coronet all by yourself and look around wondering why there is no one else on, cuz they are sick of every **edit**ing class getting nerfed.
