Interesting post. I'm a new Master Doc and use very good purchased buffs, all in the 850-880 range. I average between 900 and 2800 with the same packs, have a 110 med droid and +16 duster (i haven't used yet, can't seem to find any of the good med clothes, lol). It seems that if this is the new system we simply need to live with it. I've got customers that seem to wonder what's happening as well. I don't think there is any reason to panic and don't see any reason to decrease prices and refund payment at this time. Once people get used to the variable effects of the current buffs there won't be any complaints. This could simply be a nerf to level set the game. When i started playing and everyone was new I was excited to get 15% padded armor. Now everyone is running around with 80%+ comp armor. Buffed toons running around with this advantage don't really make it a challenge anymore. I'm fine with this and don't think it will effect our profession once everyone get used to the new system.
2.) Post-problem normal buff average. 1.1k to 1.7k

I went to Dant, Dath, Yavin, and Endor and buffed then went to Tat, Naboo, and Corelia and I am amazed at the difference.
Most glaring differences:
Endor--1 set of 6 buffs on 1 patient had 3 land below 1000 and all 6 landed below 2000. Average for the night of 2 buffs at 2k+ per person, 1-2 at under 1k per person, zero at 3k+ for the entire night.
Tatooine--1 set of 6 buff on 1 patient had 3 land at 3k+, 2 more at 2500+, and 1 landed at 2200. Average for the night of 4-5 buffs landing for 2k+ per person, 1 landing at 3k+ per person, and zero below 1k.
Granted, this was a small bunch of perhaps 15-20 players buffed per planet, but the results have been showing for the past two weeks (the time when I first noticed the planet making a difference) that onadventure/advanced planets the buffs land significantlylower for me on avergage with the same gear/droid/packs.
Would someone else mind testing this?

i am a non master doc and my buffs are horrible since the patch. i used to get 4 out of 6 buffs from 2k-2900,
now i get 4 or 5 buffs under 2k usually around 1400 and maybe one buff in the low 2ks
