I normally dont charge for a res. But going into places like the Geno lab, or Fort Tusken, you always get spammed with it. I have no problem ressing once, but when the same people constantly send me tells, asking for a res, they can rot. If you are not good enough to hunt there, then you do not belong there. If you are going to die multiple times, then bring your credit book with you. Is it wrong to charge for a res? of course not. If people are going to blow up about it, simply point out to them how much they spent to insure thier items(if they did), and the decay rate that is going to happen if they do clone. If they continue to complain, or my personal favorite, "I have no money," then tell them, "Im sorry, I have no res packs." That way they leave you alone for the future as well.

I rarely charge but only because i have nothing better to do hehe

Most the time, if you go out of your way people will tip you more than a resonable price (i got 30k once for a 2k speeder ride out to someone)

However, if i do ask for a tip beforehand, and they throw a fit at me, i stick them on a list of people i will not use any meds on and watch them beg next time im the only doc

If the person sais "ok, then i will clone, thanks anyway" i will normaly stop them and rez them

Yeah I'll die (I mean, comeon, look at my template and race) but I'll laugh all the way to the cloning center about you walking around with no blue stats whatsoever.

If you are a fellowhealer and have helped me learn the trade, find waypoints, hunt, etc.... I'll travel across the universe for you.

Now I won't deny that part of the reason I turned away from BH is that I wanted to make loads of money doing buffs and what not, because I had seen the lineup of people waiting and paying for buffs... kinda seemed easier and more lucrative than buying crates of seeker droids and having them fail to find my target anyway. But I also genuinely ENJOY it. I LIKE helping people. I know how grateful I was when I was first starting when this awesome Master Doc took me aside, gave me loads of free meds, and tumbled for me so I could gain xp, and part of me wants to pay that back. I like helping the newbies... I like healing people who are on the brink of death when they come into the med center, etc... and I have never charged for a wound OR dmg heal. I figure... those I can crank out like nuthin... and it seemed kind of backwards for me to sit there grinding away healing an AFK tumbler... and then turn around and charge the guy who just came in with ACTUAL DAMAGE. Several people tipped me on their own...most didn't... but I really didn't mind since I was looking for xp anyway. Now that I'm MASTER... of COURSE I charge for buffs to strangers... because these damn things take BANK to make as far as time and resources... but guildies will ALWAYSget free buffs just based on how much they helped ME on my way.

To be honest, until reading this message it had never even occured to me to charge for a rez... I just never even considered it. But after having read this it seems natural that I SHOULD charge. After all... it takes resources same as everything else. It also takes me time and effort to go find them. In the end it saves THEM time and money in travel costs and equipment decay... so why shouldn't I charge them for the service? Guildies = Free Everything. Everyone else = Pay me fool!!

It still kind of amuses how people ask for services... and then upon hearing the price say things like "No thanks... you just lost a customer!" like it is REALLY going to affect me whether or not they get my buffs or like I'm suddenly going to bring my prices down. "Dude... I got nineteen other people lining up to take your place who think my prices are fine... you wasted you OWN time... not mine."
