Yesterday I got some of the new Bivoli. +22 Wound Treatment. Before, using 905 packs and +41 BE clothes, my high was 3373. When I ate the Bivoli and buffed, my new high hit an amazing 3789 with the same 905 packs and +41 BE clothes.

Id like to see a screenshot of that 3789buff...its realy hard to believe as ive been using 903power packs and never buffed over 3300 yet.. even with all my +wound treat clothes
I use 944 Action and 898 all others((or stats very very close if memory serves me)) Base and have only ever hit 3360 for my max. I use 170%+ in BE Clothes and 110 Med. Droid. I'm 100% Master Doctor and Master Combat Medic. I've been collecting the finest medical resources for about 6 months now. I've run all sorts of small tests and still cannot find a way to improve the random variable of Buffs . The time and resources you guys put into testing is increadable. I truely respect you for that ! ! /cheer
I noticed the work Twighlightscout did and it confuses me.
Buffing with 897 packs he hit a max of 3007 four times. Yet, with packs ranging from 867 to 912 I have broken 3300 repeatedly--just not nearly as often as I would like these days. I broke 3200 4 times this weekend so far on Tatooine, only one of those on a stronger pack than 897.
All this leads me to believe the multiplier goes up to 4 times the base rating, but it also makes me wonder how in the heck we can see such a difference in the max buff from comparable packs. I would bet Twighlight was on a non-starter planet as I never get the results on them I do on starter planets (during the past 2 months).
Yea, I'm not sure about the BE-Clothing. I do know it was intended for healing only and not buffing. On the other side , I just can't buff some one with out putting on all Enhancments just in case . . . Habbit I suppose . . . . .

How do I know if my BE clothes are disabled?

Curiouser and Curiouser...
Here's the results of a +25 pants, +15 Swoop Helm and +16 Reinforced Jacket. All other variables the same... except that I was only able to perform 44 buffs instead of 50. Ran out of this particular batch.
That's an average of 1824.864. Which does not follow our previous results.
What conclusion can we now draw with this additional data? That we need more testing.
What I found very interesting about this last set was the lack of discrete values. I had TWO repeats in one 44 buff session of the same number. I'm going to doa nice run of a crate of 50 Action buffs. 33 charges per. 6600 total buffs should be a bit better for providing more conclusive data.
I do however think that something is probably screwy with the buffing process. It seems the calculations are perhaps too complex or easily befuddled... who knows. The increase with +140 could be because less than 150 actually works. Or because it was pants and a helm. And a jacket throws it off. Who knows.
More data to come this weekend as I have time.

I had eaten the new bivoli (+22 Wound Treatment) just before buffing, my wound treatment was 122/163. I don't have a screenshot cos it was during a time I was raiding. I do have more. If it happens again I will be sure to do so.

I run around with 131 skill, 110 droid, MD, but have serious doubts about the benefit of the BE clohtes. The new chef food, on the other hand, demonstrates a significant benefit. What I hadn't seen posted here yet was the question--If Chef food makes such a noticeable improvement with less than a 25 point skill bump, why does BE clothing not reflect an even larger increase for the 25+ skill gain most of us have? Don't get me wrong, I want the BE stuff to do it's magic--I just am not seeing any gain when I wear it as opposed to when I do not.The buff system needs to be reworked IMHO.Vinaddar
I break 3200 with some regularity as well. However, I did not use a droid for the tests.
That is, if a house has a "rating" of 100. I don't remember if that's the case, but the point was to see what effect if any bio-engineered clothing really has on our buff values.
I did the testing on Naboo, for what it's worth.
Hmm .. well my enhancements match the formula as stated on the doctor FAQ. I use a med 110 droid and +25 wound/injury treatment BE enhanced clothes. Using 860 packs my minimum is 1064 and has never dropped below unless my target has very high BF. Oh, and i do a LOT of buffing. A typical buffing session would be 4-8 hours of non-stop buffing .. and i reallymean non-stop. (i will have a permanent queue of up to 15 people throughout my session). This is outside a starport and I make sure I havezero BFand wounds. I have yet to try Bivoli.
Over the past four weeks I have buffed more than 1000 people. I know that by how many packs I have used. In all that time I have only ever dropped below 1064 twice. (using 860 base packs)The first time was on a person with 800+ BF and the second time was somebody with 350+ BF. The majority of my customers have some battle fatigue and yet I still have not dropped below 1064. I watch very carefully for low buffs.
If we are questioning the validity of BE enhanced clothing and are using the formula as stated per the FAQ, I would say that BE enhanced clothing is working as it should. (at least in my circumstances). I have hit the minimum many many times but never less (other than the two exceptions noted above). If BE clothing was having no effect then I would surely have buffedforless than 1000 on occasion.
