I cud quite often claim to buff peeps with an 850 pack min of 1500 upto 3300 in dec/nov when i started mstr Doc, now not even close. As it seems some think it hasnt changed some combo most of usare using may well bemessing it up,but i refer all to the patch note I saw in Decs patch i think it was...

it went something like this..Doc Buffs now adjust for the min base attribute NOT the max attribute.....

Go with that what you will i dont know what it means but me thinks cud be something to check first. when I get home from work I will post here the exact time and detail its on the login text in patch history, if someone can go check it now be easier and quicker.

I've got it!

I went from 2500+ buffs to 1500- buffs in about a week, and I figured out how to get your averages back up to peak performance!

GET YOUR ITEMS REPAIRED! Any equipped items that may be damaged or harmed in ANY way hinder the quality of your buffs.. I got all my clothing repaired last night and I am buffing at 2500+ again.. I am so psyched.. now where's my nobel award for making this miraculous discovery?

Interesting... I dunno about that though... While it may be possible that damaged clothes with a BE tissue in it woudl lower the value of buffs. it would only affect the +25 of the clothes not the other +100... might be enough to throw it all off... If you ahve multiple clothes with multiple +'s I dunno which one the game would count first (hat? gloves?) I do know my dod doesn't wear BE clothes most of the time... and is not affected.

BTW.. your 875/875 weapon isn't doing full damage either.. the stats on everything are assuming a 1000/1000 condition.

Experimenting on durability actually helps your gear perform better.

In the past two weeks, I've mastered two doctors. A Trandoshan and a Human. They both wear the same equipment and use the same droid along with the same packs from the same vendor. My Trandoshan performed fine when doing mass buffs but my Human is not.

Trandoshan:

1.) Pre-problem normal buff average. - 2500

2.) Post-problem normal buff average. - NA

3.) Date when you noticed that buffs got lower (the closer you can get on this the more helpful it is.) - NA

4.) Normal Buff pack power level (range) and which adv components do you use. -850

5.) Droid rating (If no droid, please type "med center 100") - Med Droid - 110

6.) Wound treatment rating without clothes - 100

7.) Wound treatment rating with clothes (include ratings over +25 just in case). - 125

8.) Server. - Kettermoor

My human (mastered Doc about 5-6 hours ago, been mass buffing since then)

1.) Pre-problem normal buff average. - NA

2.) Post-problem normal buff average. - 1300

3.) Date when you noticed that buffs got lower (the closer you can get on this the more helpful it is.) - NA

4.) Normal Buff pack power level (range) and which adv components do you use. -850

5.) Droid rating (If no droid, please type "med center 100") - Droid 110

6.) Wound treatment rating without clothes - 100

7.) Wound treatment rating with clothes (include ratings over +25 just in case). - 125

8.) Server. - Kettermoor

I don't know whats going on but it's really frustrating.I dropped Trandoshan because their mind was horrible. I thought I was all set with human but these buffs are horrible. With my Trandoshan, I could advertise that if a buff is less than 1500, you'll get 1k creds back because sub 1500 was a rarity. With Human, it's the opposite...

Oh and one more thing. Have you guys ever seen those sigs that are lines of text and look like they are a part of the post?

Ok, so I am a new doc, but I use all the best ingredgients and all the stuff..but the buffs are unpredictable!!!

One day they are way up there...and the next day (these same buff packs) have way less effectiveness!!!

I CANNOT figure this out! If anyone can tell me why the same buff packs give good buffs one time and lousy the next...I would appreciate it.

I know this much..
I am about to save myself a lot of effort in gathering the best resources.
It's ridiculous that I get my action packs up to 919 power and the very first hit is just that ..919!
The second hit, though? Well, naturally it's a 2800+. I turned and buffed myself with a failed pack (768) and hit for 2600+ ..it's all just too random to make money like this anymore. I'm refunding half the profit. I have no damaged equipped items either, so I doubt that is the issue. I make sure the patient is healthy. I buff outside with a 110 droid and I charge the droid before every patient. I don't know what else to do but find a new profession.

Being able to see the crappy buff stats now is wonderful ..yeah.

I was not a buffer pre-problem but I will add my 0.02 cause this seems crazy now. I made Master and my buff's went lower.

1.) Pre-MASTER normal buff average. 900-1200 (with D's)

2.) Post-MASTER normal buff average. 500-700 (with stronger D's)

3.) Date when you noticed that buffs got lower (the closer you can get on this the more helpful it is.) the day I mastered 2/8/04

4.) Normal Buff pack power level (range) and which adv components do you use. 500-900 all advanced components

Droid rating (If no droid, please type "med center 100") 110

6.) Wound treatment rating without clothes um master level (sorry forgot)

7.) Wound treatment rating with clothes (include ratings over +25 just in case).
DOn't use clothes

8.) Server. Valcyn

It has nothing to do with your BE Clothing. I buff just the same regardless if I'm wearing a 0/1000 or 1000/1000 clothing. I'm a Master BE, so I can just make the mods myself and save 300k for cost of normal BE clothing, so I have tested this. The only thing I can think of is that the buffs are some how decaying. But since you can't really test this, and I'm told they can't, it doesn't seem correct. So I dunno, but it's getting rather annoying.

I have been talking to a lot of customers and they ALL have told me that their buffs have SIGNIFICANTLY dropped over the past 1-2 weeks from our docs. I filled out my template earlier, but this is on the Intrepid server.
