And I doubt anyone gets their resources for free. Try checking the price of a heavy harvestor sometime.
Ah, true.... but what if the harvestor is free as well?
I'm living a great life...
Do you also have someone else pay for the power and maintenance to run the harvestor?

On corbantis it is not unusual to see master doc buffs at 7-8k. It is too much trouble for me to get my resources to even bother.
With the rarity of class 'A' rare resources, I don't konw what people are thinking. I caused to doc's to get into a fight in front of theed one day. Long story short, they realized they were screwing themselves and just closed up shop.
I only buff friends for now. That's it. Until the 'walmart' buffers realize what they're doing to themselves and the trade. They'll run out of the rare subcomponent ingredients anyway.
That's my two cents.

When Im in coronet and ACTUALLY sitting down to buff I charge 6k.
When Im in the field (Ft tusken, Genosian cave etc) I charge 10-15k depending on the competition and my packs
When some one walks up to me as Im going somewhere (hopping shuttles etc) and says what I think is the DUMBEST thing possible (had this happen twice last night) "Buff Me" my rate is 30-50K, the call me crazy I tell them to fly to coronet and spend 30 minutes waiting on shuttles.
Actually made 30K off a Buff last night
My other favorite quote "I'll pay a 1000 extra to go first" right like 1K means anything to me anymore come on Ive got 20 people lined up paying 6K a pop like I care about 1k.

Once again, good point. But let's analyze the math, shall we?
Even a small harvestor will grab at least 5k of material overnight if it's put in a good spot. It takes about 1k worth of cash to run a harvestor for one day.
Now, there are 6 minable resources needed to make buffs (2 for ABECs, 1 for Chem Release, 2 for Solid Deliv. Shells, and 1 for the buff pack itself). So, it takes 6k credits to mine 5k units of each type of resource. Let's even throw in the money for the power as well..... 10k total, let's say.
So, you're down 10k, but you have 5k units of materials for each type you need. Now, even if I'm WAY overshootingand say that you need 30 units of each type to make a buff.... the materials you have will make you over 150 buff packs. Split over 6 stats, that's roughly 25 buff packs.
Man, I'm a huge nerd.
Anyway...... a D buff pack, at the worst, has 20 charges. 25 times 20 equals 500 sets of buffs. Let's say I use only half of these as "selling buffs." 250 buffs at 5k each nets me 1,250,000 credits. That's one million, two hundred and fifty thousand credits. Minus the 10k I put in at the beginning (boo hoo) and I end up with 1.24 million.
That is how I make money.
And, in response to the "walmart buffers" comment.....
Walmart is one of the most successful businesses in the United States today.
