Thread: Doc Buffs De-Mystified, and how Publish 7 will change it.
ScudDawg: +25 is the cap but it can be in as many pieces of clothing as you like. It's just that anything over +25 total, countin all clothing modifiers, just won't get counted, is all.
EnFERn0: Suggestions from back in Beta calimed that BF affected you a a straight percentage modifier. Think of it as 1-(BF/1000)*Healing amount. However you get the firs 199 BF for free.
So starting, supposedly, at 200 you would have a .8 modifier. That means that if the normal buff pack after all normal modifiers would have gotten youa buff of, say, 2500 then if you buffed someone with 200 BF you would only buff them for 2000 instead. That MIGHT be mitigated some as you gain levels as a Doc, (only because I've done healing actions on folks I know had much higher BF than 200, like in the 4-500 range, and still not gotten the "shock wounds" message.)
At any rate that is just a guess as to how BF supposedly will affect the equation. Without further testing (which with a non-random buff pack we could actually do now, at least on Test Center) I can;t be certain of what the exact effect really is.
