I'm completly against this, As a Doctor, work out how much each pack cost to manufacture, then add a % as a profit (sommat like 15%). Why on earth you think you can charge 2k is complety beyond me, I wish people would wise upto the fact there being ripped off.

If it costs 600 credits to manufacture one stim with X amount of charges, then your gonna charge 2k per Pack charge? omfg!!!!!

Appalling.

You have any idea how much money a person can get back by using those buffs to thier potentional by doing missions on dantooine, dath, or yavin? At 12k a set, they can get that back in 1 to 2 missions. Which takes what, 5 minutes? 10 minutes, out of the 3 hours that the buff will give them?!

Im sick of "doctors" like you that have no self esteem and only think of the cost of the product, and not the VALUE of the product.

If you were running a car company you would go under for selling cars at cost, not for thier value.

**edit** was that about?? Self-Asteem? what the hell has that gotta do with SWG?

Im still making a profit and peeps are getting good buffs for a fraction of the cost, its extortonat what you guys are charging

Hmm guess what, you can charge whatever you want but I will charge what I deem my packs worth.
I organize hunts, pay rangers, maintain harvesters. Those are all the things going into the prize of a pack. But the most valuable thing for me is time. It take an incredible amount of time to get a crate of those and I will charge for it.

They'd get bored as hell doing that after a while, and then I'd be through with having conversations for the rest of my life."

What a joke, the value of your service. Come on if car makers charged us the for the value a car brings us we'd all be walking.

Enjoy yourprofitablebuffdom now, buff equalization is coming in Publish 8.

I am by no means implying it would not still be profitable. True good packs should stillbuff better than lesser, but if theequalized benefit and "value" is less I would assume people wouldn't be willing to pay as much for less "value".

Im really just stirring the pot.

Everyone should charge what they are comfortable with and customers will ultimately determine how much the "value" is worth.

Its all about supply and demand, oh yeah don't forget "value".

Not much to be said about it's like in every other profession there are the ones who charge acceptable prices and the ones who out of greed or defiance [... this evil (put in random crafter) is greedy so I have to be too] take what they can get.
The effect can be seen on nearly every server. In combination with the ongoing inflation caused by the fact that SoE pumps more money into the game every day the prices on wares/services become more ridiculous every day.
Oh well that are the joys of a not well thought out player only economy system .

Shannon;

200 may be the cutting off point on BF affecting buffs then, cuz I had two people with BF over 300, and it lowered their buff by the SAME amount of their BF! The first one ws pissed, but after I'd told him to go get it lowered, he said go ahead. The second one knew it was high to start with but said he was just doing PVE and it didn't make a difference.

normally I won't buff if their BF is over 100, I don't like unhappy customers from low buffs.

Little old formula that's taken from the big one:

Just plain buffs = buffpack x 2 (900 buffpack give you an 1800 buff)

plus a 110 Droid = buffpack x 2.2 (900 buffpack gives you a 1980 buff)

Droid AND BE clothing of +25 to wound healing: = buffpack x 2.475 (900 buffpack = 2227.5 buff)

Droid and BE clothing and Bivoli Tempare of +25 = buffpack x 2.75 (900 buffpack = 2475 buff)

Adjust for the size of your buffpacks, and if the Bivoli Tempare isn't quite +25 (my last that I found was 23.43, which takes off a little)

ALSO, don't forget to have them all get rid of their Battle Fatigue! I saw a 311 Battle Fatigue lower the buffs by 311 points today, which usually does not make for happy campers. A simple /dia before buffing will help you give better buffs and make for good relationships and happier customers.

Yep it doesn't, it can cost almost 10k if you use best resources availlable and buy them. Almost in every server if you aren't getting all resources by yourself you can't do under 2k packs. 3-5k most propably.

There's mentioned briefly that in next patch where combat balance should happen that it would affect to foods and meds as well. It might but even if they halved buffs power buffs will be still valued because even in worst case scenario buffs will negate at least your armor encumbrance and in pvp buffed vs. unbuffed - we all know which one usually wins.

What comes to buff prices, bivoli and enhance pack prices should control buffing price but docs value their services as they please. As sayed before nothing forces you to be buffed, nobody forces you to buy buffs. Buffs makes your life so easy that spending some creds on it is well worth it now and future.

I'm a Doc, andI think you are greedy. Good luck, cause there will always be a Doc selling theirs for cheaper and still turning a profit... like me
