Thread: Ok, the new formula, ROUGHLY, to the new buffs on TC
OK so using the 2.476 to calculate...
Base 800 = yeilds 1,980
Base 850 = yeilds 2,104
Base 900 = yeilds 2,228
Base 970 = yeilds 2,401 (janta blood)

Could someone please clarify the BE clothing cap?
You are saying it is 25, what does that mean?
My current wound treatment is 100/200 with BE clothes on. Are you saying that all these clothes with +25 I am wearing are useless?

I could not find any statement ofa med rating bonus for being in a hospital and /registered (I have edited that info below with a strikethrough). The only mention of a med rating bonus for a structure is being in a factional structure which a medic can /register, and that bonus is 25% -- which effectively means the multiplier can be higher, although I'm assuming only for overt medics registered in a factional structure.

That's dumb.. getting a suit full of +25 BE clothes means nothing then.
Yeah... buyer beware is all I can say. But at least you have various pieces to chose from, such that you can use other clothing to add wound treatment speed, or any other skill tapes. ![]()
Ok, for clarification: The maximum bonus to wound treatment is +25 from BE clothing AND +25 from Bivoli Tempari. Thus you can achieve a maximum of +50 wound treatment bonus but only if using both BE clothing and Bivoli, for a total wound treatment skill of 150.
The medical rating also factors into a buff bonus. The highest medical rating is 110 (via a droid or hospital if you are /registered). I do not believe using a droid with a lower than 100 med rating would negatively affect the buff outcome, but someone on TC might provide that answer?
Assuming the lowest med rating is 100, an easy formula then becomes:
buff value = base enhance value X[ ( 1 + ( wound treatment skill / 100 )) X( medical rating / 100 ) ]
Thus the maximum buff multiplier (the stuff within the brackets [ ] above) is 2.75. This is achieved with +50 wound treatment bonus and a med rating of 110 (ie. ( 1 + ( 150/100 ) )* ( 110/100 ) )=(1 + 1.5 ) * ( 1.1 )= 2.75 ).
Without Bivoli, your maximum multiplier will be 2.475 (assuming +25 BE clothing and a med rating of 110).
I hope this doesn't further confuse folks. ![]()

Perhaps I was confused in that normal hospitals also received this bonus (although doesn't it make sense?). Sorry for misleading anyone. I'll edit my original post and strikethrough the incorrect parts and post a followup with more correct info.
Regarding the faction perk, the following from one of the patch notes ( URL http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/recent_updates.jsp?o=60890

I'm guessing the doctor must be overt to gain this bonus?
