I have hit on one buffe an amazingly lucky 3016, 3058, 4013, 4013, 3243, and 4040 for a set of buffs with 894 heal power packs.

BTW.. I hate using non-avian meat action packs. We buff people as a set of 6 buffs, not as 1 uber buff and 5 mediocre buffs.

How do I know what's a medical specialization city?

I never understood, and maybe will not understand this. Ive had my alt buffing me before with around lets say 100bf, my combat character(being melee) around like 200-300bf. Using 110droid +25cloths +24.5 bivoli 850+packs ive hit over 3k plenty of times with all this bf. Ive had ppl tell me to take off my armor when im too lazy to log in my alt, what the hell does armor have to do with buffs and where are they getting this info. Yeah, i can see a crazy amount of bf affecting alot of things, regens, heals, but thats when its real high. But I always laugh when ppl tell me to take off my armor, been a doc for a very long time, always buff with armor on, hit my highest buffs with armor on, ect ect. randomness randomness randomness, till the patch.

Armor shouldn't make a difference to you buffing ability anyway (just yourmind regen rate, maybe). Bf, however, will have an effect, but not until it hits 200. Even then the effect is a minor one that progressively gets worse the more BF of the person you are buffing has. I don;t believe your own BF makes any difference, but I've never really tested for that.

The doctor's BF makes no matter.

Armor makes no matter for either the target or the doctor (except where regen rates are a concern)

You know its a Medic Specialized City just by entering it. I had to ask my mayor to make it one.

I can make 31c/936p Buff packs, i can make higher power but at the cost of 7 charges. I have spent over 70 million in 1 shift of Avian 995/935 and i have 1000 OQ reactive gas. I do not like that 800 power and 900+ power buffs are so close to one anoter now. But in the end if this will keep peeps from complaining about 1 buff that hit for 1200 when all the others where 3400 to 3900 ill live with it.

800 buffpack, no bivoli : 1980
900 buffpack, no bivoli : 2227
800 buffpack, +25 bivoli : 2200
900 buffpack, +25 bivoli : 2475

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Is pretty good, not bad numbers really that i could happily live with, i really hated the randomness,

However, combined with the horrid crafting nerf, getting a 900+ buff pack probbably wont be very easy at all, in fact what, tc doc's have been reporting something like 50 ish reduction from what its like now? Considering how the game is a strive for the best, people arent going to want buffs under i would say, 2k, unless they are desperate, swg gets more elitest every day, this is going to put quite a few doc's out of buisness at least for a while till some better shifts roll in.

Hmmmm, I am so glad I have about 200 pacs of each stat right at 900 for post patch sales!!

As for the publish 7 changes, I think 2500 is a fair buff, it wil take the excitement I got out of buffing someone and hoping for a 3k buff!! It will also balance out what a doc can charge for buffs because you then know what you are getting for your money, I think they are good changes, it just takes a little excitment out of it when you know what your going to hit. I also will pursue more Janta, the janta pacs on the floor in my house will not be just for display anymore!! Now that I know what they will hit, I am excited to buy many more!! My janta pacs are all 20/1005 and 13k duration, that was with measly 10/100 janta blood, let me get ahold of some 15/195 stuff and look out, I made some for a guy with blood like that and hit 25/1145 13k duration.

I think the changes will help masters be the master they are suppose to be and that is the way it should be, the dabblers will then try to become masters or start paying masters to buff them, or learn to accept the changes. I don't like that a 90 use doctor can buff as well as me when I spent the time to go up the crafting tree and all the others, but they didn't.

I will miss the excitment and anticipation of a 3k buff, but other than that I am happy with the changes.

ok that math is way off

110 * 250 = 27500

(27500)/100 * 900 or (27500)/90000 = .3055

what am i missing?

Zarlor,

Please take it to the devs that we dont want the buff changes on TC now. Just add the ability to rebuff and keep the current randomness. this is a roleplaying game. there are no physical dice, but there's an invisible dice roll for every act. some randomness is a given. while i do think the current degree of randomness is too large, id keep it if the alternative is static buffs.
