Thread: Am I the only one feeling nerfed?

I have played a doc for as long as I can remember, andI agree this is a potential nerf.

The big issue for me is combined with the crafting experimentation 'changes',its hard to say how the changes will play out. Sure a 900 buff packwill now always buff for X,XXX. But ifthe abilityto create said 900 packs is restriced, and the ability to create the +25 bolivi is restricted, then the numbers everyone isquoting asOK, reallyare not OK......

These changes are coming down the pipe because, the weapons/crafted items are too powerful...

How did this happen? The Creature handler changes NERFED all the cratures to a point where they can be solo'ed. That is the problem, not that the crafted items are too powerful, the designers did not take into account the impacts of changing the creature armor, resists, ect....Now I will agree CH was too powerful, as 3/2/0/0 CH I could field the best pve pet in game. Rather than adjust all creature levels up, they changed the resists and armor down......this is where we are now.

Just my 2 cents.

I am waiting to see how these changes shake out, before I make any decisions or judgements.

Count me in as one that is happy with the change. Exactly what I voted for. My buffs are not fantastic, but now at least they're consistant. I'd rather get an 1800 buff than a 900 buff any day. More reason to keep searching out the good resources.

Thus adding a whole new tier to the system... "How much for your non-Bivoli buffs?"

Hehe, I can't wait to get out there and see what my buff packs will be getting with all the stat modifiers. It should be fun to at least test it on myself and guild mates. I do thing so what if it's even at 2k flat. What I hate about the previous system was if you use a 900 base Health buff and get the bad luck of a 995 buff on a guy they get irrate. They say "900 BASE MY ASS". I am happy that even on a bad day it will be an 1800 buff which for many players would probably be more than enough. If there are docs who get 2600 consistently they will probably make more money. I hope to just maybe 2200 and that is plenty to me. I won't work overly hard to reach that though. This is a game and not a job.

will I miss the random 3800 buffs yes,
will I miss the more often 1200 buffs Hell no

DO feel nerfed, Hell no, I feel fixed.

Now I can tell everyone exactly what they will get for a buff.
2160 across the board without bivoli or clothes gotta find some bivoli then I break out the 899 buff packs andhave some fun and take the damn disclaimer out of my buff macro.

Weird...my buff packs are between 902-917, yet my highest buff is 2008. I'm 4443 doctor, +136 total wound treatment, and a 110% med droid.

How are you guys getting 2500 with 850+ packs?

Ibuff for like 2476-2494 base, its great to be able to tell my customers exact stats. I really like the new system a lot, because I would rather get 6 2500 buffs than 3 3200 buffs and 3 900 buffs. If people ask me too many questions/complain I just tell them no one is forcing them to get buffed.

I love the new system. Not only can you write buffs over without having to wait for old buffs to vanish, you also don't have to take only the best ingredients to avoid having below 1k buffs. I liked the occasional 3kers (or more) but I'd much rather have consisently good buffs than inconsisently awesome ones.

I'm content. I'd rather know what I'm getting. In RL I'm extremely skilled at what I do and I'd hate to go into the studio somedays and do a crappy job and do really well others. If anything it's an insentive to seek out better materials, which again, in my RL are essential.

Hmm I like it but one thing, that lower packs aren't really that much lower.
I use 870 packs and hit with bivoli 2.3k each shot but a guy using 770 packs will hit about 2.1k
My problem is that 870 is WAY more difficult to craft than a mere 770 pack and I as a customer wouldn't mind if I get a 2.1 or a 2.3k buff.
I will still try to craft the best packs I can, but only thinking that some guy with lower packs will hit almost the same is a bit... well weird. Don't ya think?

They'd get bored as hell doing that after a while, and then I'd be through with having conversations for the rest of my life."
