Thread: BE Clothing Buff Test Results: UPDATED!!! READ ME!!
Curiouser and Curiouser...
Here's the results of a +25 pants, +15 Swoop Helm and +16 Reinforced Jacket. All other variables the same... except that I was only able to perform 44 buffs instead of 50. Ran out of this particular batch.
With +156:

That's an average of 1824.864. Which does not follow our previous results.
What conclusion can we now draw with this additional data? That we need more testing. ![]()
What I found very interesting about this last set was the lack of discrete values. I had TWO repeats in one 44 buff session of the same number. I'm going to doa nice run of a crate of 50 Action buffs. 33 charges per. 6600 total buffs should be a bit better for providing more conclusive data.
I do however think that something is probably screwy with the buffing process. It seems the calculations are perhaps too complex or easily befuddled... who knows. The increase with +140 could be because less than 150 actually works. Or because it was pants and a helm. And a jacket throws it off. Who knows.
More data to come this weekend as I have time.

If this does yield information that the avergae buff can be increased then that will be invaluable information. I'd imagine I speak for all of us when I say I"m anxiously awaiting your results. Good luck and thanks for the tests.
I did three sets of 50 buffs. First with no BE clothes, second with +25/+25 comfy slacks and third with slacks, shirt and jacket for +49/+49 total.
Average with +100/+100 WT/IT: 1755.52 Highest: 2673 Lowest: 897
Average with +125/+125 WT/IT: 1982.84 Highest: 3007 Lowest: 1009
Average with +149/+149 WT/IT: 1956.42 Highest: 3007 Lowest: 1009
I noticed I buffed for 3007 exactly four times- twice in a row in the second set! I also hit the highest and lowest buff in the second and third sets twice.
I'm not good in maths though (as my friends are all too happy to point out!) so I'll leave it to someone else to figure it out. I'm planning on getting a BE hat and the bivoli as well to do some more sets if it's of any use.
But it seems to indicate going over +25 does not actually matter, which is in line with devs statements. I've also never really observed a difference in game.
Here's the numbers anyway.

Thanks for the testing
Might I suggest, though, trying the same test with higher then +25 clothing if possible?
not possible +25 is the best results and as of the latest patch BE clothing has absolutely no effect what so ever on buffs it's 100% random
While +25 is the cap on any given piece, you can still wear multiple pieces- whether that has any effect beyond +25 is one of the subjects of this thread.
Let me elaborate a bit more this si from extensive communications with master tailors and their long term understanding and communciations etc of how BE clothing works.
+25 is the maximum BE modifier one can have. a +49 to anything does not stack beyond the initial +25 you get no further benefit from beyond it to push the number higher you need to aquire skill tapes then and drop them in to the sockets on clothing etc.
So one with anything above +25 will still get the +25 benefit. The problem with that and the testing being done above Great testing but as you noticed your results require more testing. INjury and wound treatment Healing is not related to BUFFS. Enhancers are an enhancer not a Injury or a wound treatment.
This means NO BE clothing modifiers and then helps one recaluclate how much of a random buff we are actually seeing.
Try the test again as follows.
test 1 = 1 crate same buff test all same mods. pick a test subject with no Battle Fatigue and use a droid with a 110 rating on a medical module. run your series of tests but not inside of the med center. Run them outside the cantina or near a starport.
test 2 = same crate same buffs as test 1. Location med Center. Same droid recharged with batteries. Same scenario with the test center above. If you are pulling lower ranges on buffs in a med center with the same modifiers as you had in test one then the only thing you can conlude is Buffs = 100% randomized above the base effect.
what does this mean Buffs use the same system as Slicing to determine the effects.
max modifier may possibly be 35% for the enhance and 45% for duration.
Something to work out and check into.

You are wrong. I'm not in-game now but if you look at your skill sheet (cntrl+s) and read the descriptions for injury and wound treatment you will see that it also applies to enhancements.
NO i am not! have you tested it? I have it offers literally 0 benefit.
this is from testing it before when it worked (prior to publish) and now as of last nights tests. 0 benefit i wear +25/25 injury and wound treatment clothing and for SNG i wore my armor instead and got better results wearing armor and outside of a starport. then i did in themed center with BE clothing and a 110 rated module in the same droid fully charged using the same exact buffs.
How does that calculate and how is that possible?
answer 100% random Buff system like slicing.
