Thread: Subcomponent Ranges
Thanks, Zarlor.
By the way, I've added some of my own testing to the mix so I'm getting a very good look at the basic subcomponents, but it's the advanced ones that are going to give me trouble. I don't have any class 4 petro, dolovite iron, etc. I just can't craft these things.
Well, I did some more testing last night with Advanced BEC's and added my findings to my spreadsheet. It looks like there's actually a difference between max charges and max power on an ABEC. From what data I have, it looks like ABEC's max out on charges at around 25 while they max out on power around 30.
I have also put my current findings online for all to see, if you're interested. You can find it here:
http://www.geocities.com/mcglonec1978/swg/ranges/subcomponentRanges.htm
However, you'll notice that I have only partial data for many of the subcomponents and no data whatsoever for some of the advanced subcomponents (CRDM, LS, and SDS). Why? Because I don't have the resources to craft these things and no one has given me any data for them.
With the exclusion of Happymob's findings, all of the data in that spreadsheet has come from me. If you're making these subcomponents, it takes only a couple minutes to jot down these numbers and post them here and I'd greatly appreciate the help.

I've got some class 4 petro and dolovite iron. It's not great quality but you can use some for testing if you want.
Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately, I don't have the domesticated oats or herbivore meat that I'd need to go along with these things, either. ![]()
However, if you want to contribute, you can drop off a little bit of each (I only need enough for a few of each subcomponent) on my vendor (coords in my sig).
I'm not sure about the domesticated oats, but I've definitely got herbivore meat of every quality
I'd do the tests myself but I'm not a master doctor yet.
Well, if you're willing to, just drop off a small sample of your best stuff (100 units or so would be excellent). Price it fairly and I'll pick it up this evening.
Thanks for the help.

And 95% I believe is 72 power.
