Thread: Fixed Issues
The reason the stats factor in is explained fairly well in the FAQ. Generally Gases have very few traits, certainly not PE. So what happens is that the Avian Meat's PE get's used instead. So what was seemingly a 66/33 formula really ends up being 50/50 on the Organic side. The problem hereeis I don;t remember exactly what the stats forumla is for Ease of Use. Also you have to remember that each bar on an Enhance pack usually does double duty by experimenting on two things, such as Power and Duration, for example. So it's possible to have a higher percentage involved for one of those, but not the other, and the difference between the two seems to affect the final possible outcome depending on EPs used.
THAT'S why I asked for the full stats. ![]()

The subcomponent stats are irrelavent, as long as the final numbers are the same on them. A component does not at all remember what resources went into it, it only remembers what it's rating(s) is/are. And that rating just gets added to the final product directly. The resources used in a component have no relavence to the final combine of a product.
So all we need here would be the stats on the Avian Meat and the Gas you were using to make that final product.
gas 971oq 206dr
lok avian meat 689oq 494pe 946dr
naboo avian meat 839 336pe 535dr
i realize i may have something backwards or be doing the math wrong and if so i apologize for posting it in this thread, i appreciate you taking the time to help me work this out
That answers it right there. Your first Lok meats comes out with a rating of 591.5 because of the better OQ and the Naboo meat is only 587.5. Technically if we pulled it in with the Gas your power rating looks like this:
{GasOQ + MeatOQ)/2]*.66} + (MeatPE*.33)
Since Gas has no PE but the Meat does, the meat's PE substitutes for the Gas PE and the average would be the Meat PE itself (in other words that MEatPE is MeatPE+MeatPE/2).
So for Lok:
{[(971 + 689)/2]*.66}+ (494*.33)=547.8+163.02=710.82
And Naboo:
{[(971 + 839)/2]*.66}+(336*.33)=597.3+110.88=708.18
So, as you see, your Lokian Meat, even with the lower OQ, is actually worse than the Nabooian Meat.
thats what im sayin lol
i got a base eou of 92 or 93 with the lokian and a 95 with the nabooian????
Hmm.... According to SWGCraft.com (and their schematics are not always right, but usually...) Ease of Use of 66/33 OQ/PE and is the only thing experimented on that one bar. None of the components affect Ease of use. So those numbers listed above would, in fact, suggest that something is definitely wrong here as long as your initial combine were the same (probably Great Successes) one both packs.
I almost never look at Ease of Use, myself, which may be why we never saw something like this before.
Well I'm fairly new to the whole buffpack industry being a stim man myself (gotta love 1k runs) but I have some more of the lokian and nabooian on contract and have the comps done already so I'll redo a couple more packs at a research centre tomake sure I get greats again(wasnt at reasearch centre on last time)switching only the meat and see what I come out with and post the results again.
But who knows might not prove anything as a lot of bugs seem to be player specific or at the very least very random in regards to whom they affect, but I'll try it anyways cuz if I'm bugged then I'ld like to know, hell at least I wont have to pay for the premium avian anymore, I'll get better results using second tier stuff lol (jk)
thankx
