HAHA, amen to that brother, they should have to wait for 3 hours before we see them. And when the 3 hours are over they should take off thier pants and give us a reading on their temp. And then maybe we can come give them the buffs, LOL.

And this we are at it, wounds should require an operation if they have more than a 100 wound, an operation that would require them to come visit us back every so often and pay us a ton of money... that sounds realistic to me.

I still don't believe someone cried nerf doctor,






I think you are just silly. Gimmie a break.

Nerf Doc was the title used to get attention...I said nothing about nerfing a Docs skill. Try comprehending while you read next time.

I believe most of you have missed the point. I say let droids stay at 110, let Med Centers either stay at 100 or go to 110, then have med centers and driods stack to some extent, so you would get +120 to +140, +140 is probably to high, IF anything like this ever got implemented the devs would probably put it a +125, and that’s fine by me.

As for the DE stuff...


We got our Probot's nerfed (their Armor went from AR2 to AR0 and got +300 HAM, making them the same HAM as a CL10 mount)


R3's are now thebest combat droids by a slight margin.


And we got Droid Stims. (which you'll need to use constantly for your Droid to take on a small group of low level or one slightly difficult mob)


And in Publish 8 we get 4 new modules:


1. Entertainer helper (lets them make smokes and lights without using action... yeah)

2. Exploding module (consumes your droid to do fixed damage... other than MSE this is going to cost too much I think)

3. Covert Scanner Blocking module (will protect you from Covert Scanners, decently useful...)

4. Merchant Barking modules (will give out info/waypoint to shops, could be good, could be bad)


That's our revamp. CL10 combat droids, and 4 modules with minimal usability. That is all we can do besides our current Medical module of 110, item storage of 10 items, and Data storage for Schematics only. And our 4 crafting stations that aren't as useful as a + rating Arch station.


So... the Medical module is the only things we have, and potentially will have that will be of use to many people. The merchant barker might be handy, and a very few might like the covert scanner for faction stuff, and an army of Exploding MSE's would be funny... but thats all DE's will be able to do.


And we're not getting a DH/DC profession for a long, long time, if ever. The idea is shot down, and the "Hybrid" plans don't have much potential of Dev acceptance/implementation at this point. The Dev's are pretty sick of us and just want to move on.


Frankly, I do agree that medical centers would be more useful, the only reason we probably haven't seen this change is that the Dev's haven't finished coding the erasure of the DE profession yet so when they DO make the change, and all the DE's drop it, they can pretend it never existed.

Regardless of whether or not doctors "deserved" to be nerf like Unde says or not......This DOES seem like something the devs would do in order to balence out the game.....


even the idea of requiring a camp to raise people from incapacitation is an even more likely idea just due to the fact that no one ever uses drag corpse, and completely under utilized skill

Yeah don't feed the troll man. All I see is a guy coming in here whining about something related to a profession he may not even play calling various people with different opinions fools.


Just ignore him.


The original poster mentioned that he made the title to get people attention. Perhaps if you would have put a little more thought intothe title and had it relate more closely to your posts intent you may have gotten a better response.


Spend a little more time thinking about what you want to say and a little less time calling people fools and criticizing their reading comprehension skills.

I am for making a med center give an extra pop just like some cities do. But taking a way a doc's droid is like taking a rifleman's rifle.

I called him a fool because he called me a newb...he gave no opinion on anything...some of you ppl need to accually read the post.

The above person metioned docs should have to drag a player to a ranger camp or hospital to be revived and I agree.

I find it very unlikely that we are able to bring back someone back to life with a simple ressurrection kit, I think we need a fancy camp


or a highly techno advanced hospital to even perform such a task. I don't mind waiting for a ranger in the middle of nowhere or


dragging my friends 10k meters to the closest hospital.
