I got a little question to the people that use buffs.

I know that when you die you loose it, i take thats correct?

I was wondering what happens if you go say line-dead or crash to desktop. If you login again will you still have the buffs for the same period?

thanks,

Qin

As I just made it to master combat medic last night, I have now included the Combat Medic items in the crafting section as well.

Can any master doc contribute to this FAQ by detailing the enhance packs effects? I'm only half the way through the career, so I can only say:

Enhance A ~ 50 (I usually buff for 50 -150 using those)

Enhance B ~ 100 (I usually buff for 80 - 350 using those)

Enhance C ~ ?

Enhance D ~ ?

Enhance E ~ ?

Im curious how the better ones work

Certainly. Part of the reason that the stats aren't available for the lower level medicines is because, as a master doctor, I just don't make those. I'm going to have to take some time at some point to make those just to add them to my FAQ. If you have stats for some of these items that I don't yet have filled in, please post them here.

The biggest question mark for me is what stats do I post? I mean, items made with basic components are very different from those made with advanced components. For the time being, I've been trying to post stats using only basic subcomponents.

You also have to factor in that a lower level Doc is going to ahve less EPs to experiment these with, and the Med Use level is going to be lower, so their range will be lwoer than an MDs as well. So I think folks aren't as interested in who well an MD can use stims at each step, but how someone of appropriate level for those enhances could use them.

That's perfectly fine with me.

With regards to the numbers, it's really difficult to put anything down that's going to be concrete. For one thing, I can put down that an Enhance D will boost for ~700 because that's what the pack says but a Master Doctor with a big bonus to wound treatment is going to performa much better enhancement than a 0/2/3/0 Doctor with the same pack would.

Honestly, the numbers may giev you a "rough idea" of the power of an item but there's a lot more that goes into it than just the power of the item.

Ok so if you die and clone, the buff is gone, but the duration/timer stays, correct?

What if you die, but instead of cloning, someone used a revive pack on you? Would the buffs stay that way, since it doesn't require cloning?

Excellent faq bud. I think you have inspired me to go do some more detailed crafting experiments... I have been putting it off too long.
