First off, I'm not a doc. Here's my story.

My guildmate got a small group together and he offered to buff us all for free. As he's buffing us, a group of people come running over and demand they be allowed in the group and can get buffs.

He rejects them saying we're big enough.

We leave for our first mission. Only to find a few of them following us on bikes. So, we split up. I go right. The doc goes straight. The others go left.

They continue following at a far distance the ones who go left. They taunt us when we meet there. We split again and take a drive. The guy starts shooting at our pickets.

We come back he's gone. I need buffs sometimes too, but, this behavior is just bizarre.

Some people need to lay off big time.

Very simple solution to your problem.. . . everyone pays and no freebies. That way if they join your group they still have to pay.

Don't show Master Doctor as your title.

Done....and done!!

Oh if that were only true... I'm not a Doc anymore, haven't been for months. And yet, last night, as I left a starport, I get stopped by someone who remembered me from when I was a doc and asked me for buffs. I may get the occassionaly, 'are you still a doc?' from folks who look at my badge list, but this was someone who remembered me from the days when I did buff.

I swear...buffs are the true 'spice' in this game. Some folks can't live without 'em, and go through withdrawl when they can't get them...

Neither of my Docs routinely uses buffs for hunting (only for the big stuff). I don't own a bike either. People can't wrap their minds around either concept.

Take your tag off then clown.

It's abizitch to constanly switch and I plain don't feel like it.

I worked honestly and hard for Master Doc. I'm proud of my Master Tag

I was a Master Ranger for 4 months and no one /telled me if I could harvest them something.

Maybe thats a good point, professions that don't get /telled are broken or are useless. lol

Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other. I've
seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen anything to make me

Still have no Terrain Negotiation either?

I remember going to the Rebel base near Kor Vella with you. Haha! Stubborn rodian.

Bikes are fun though.

heh I just put up an AFK message to rid myself of the tells. Says something about I'm only buffing in return for high quality avian and herbavor meat in quatities of over 3k. Have only had one person actualy take me up on it. He got great buffs and I saved 90k in paying for the stuff. (ridiculously expensive on Tempest)

Well I am no doctor but Master Weaponsmith. My weapons are amung some of the best on the server I play because there are only a handfull of us on sunrunner who actually care about the quality of the weapons we sell. So I am constantly pummeled with tells. This morning before I was fully logged in I already had tells from 5 different people wanting to order weapons. The only thing we can do is uncheck the search and hide the title like everyone says, the macros's help and the AFK message is a lifesaver. That doesn't stop it entirely but it does help alot.

I too seek buffs on a daily basis. And usually just take what I can find. However latley I have been running into rude creepy doctors who have treated me in a manner that I would not wish on anyone. So the story swings both ways. People suck.... that's all that needs to be said.

I typically just turn my tag off, but I hate it when it resets and by the time you are logged in you already have a bunch of tells asking for buffs..

Often, if I have to meet a friend at the Imp Outpost or Coronet, I will have them follow me to some out of the way area so that no one sees me.. Especially on Coronet! Once that line starts forming up, you are screwed!

If you don't have any tag up then the game remembers your last one when you log. Switch it to novice medic just before you log and then when you log back in it won't be master doctor.
