Well it all depends on your luck.

My experienceat Coronet med center/Gorath was that whenever there are tumblers around, if you heal the wounds of those coming in looking for assistance, they would normally tip you something.

My best tip was 10,000 creds, not once, not twice, but abouttwo dozen times. The norm was 1,000 with lots of 5,000 thrown in.

Yeah I always stop in at medical centers and heal anybody who is sitting around. I also usually get tipped. If I don't whatever, that's what medical centers are for. If someone doesn't have money I can understand even if they want to but kind of need it.

What irritates me is when I'm waiting for a shuttle and someone asks, "Can you heal my wounds doctor?"

I say, "Yeah sure"

Get out my droid and heal them. They say thanks and stand there for two minutes, and then just catch the shuttle. Now, maybe I'm a bit stupid for thinking that he would actually tip me, but I won't ever do it again without being paid first. I'm sorry to say.

Since I really don't heal that many people's wounds, I wouldn't get that much money from it. If someone has alot of wounds and I'm in no hurry, I'll wop out my droid, heal them, and restore. I usually get a thanks, and sometimes even a tip...

I don't expect tips, nor charge a payment (except for buffs of course), but when someone does tip me, no matter the amount, it shows that person really is thankful. 200 - 5,000, it shows they are thinking of the doc's interest and not just there own, which in my eyes is rewarding in itself, depsite the amount of money.

I made this macro hey it helps belive me, I knew I was going to be a Doc and that's all I wanted to be. And wouldn't you know it I got tipped, I would heal first and then hit the macro key and Ive gotten some good tips that way. In my hay day hehe. Now as I went to Dr I refined it Please Help a Doctor Through Graduates School, And Next Master Doctor Going through Final's what ever, just refine your macro people will catch on to the same ole same so do something different untill you can afford a good set of buffs and from there get rid of it.

Whenever I wander into a med center these days with 100+ wounds, I'm so happy if someone there is actually not an afk holo-grinder with a pet tumble-monkey, and actually HEAL my wounds that I tip them 10k just for saving me from having to sit there for ages.
