Since that didnt go the way i planned. I was in the geno lab the other day doing the missions, had my master doc tag on as always. I am soon Spammed with like 10 tells asking for a res... Now me Im not the strongest doctor out there so i would have to risk my ass to go res them in some incredible large mob.. So i make a reply and ask for 10k.. Now most of them were more then happy to pay.. Considering getting rebuffed the drive the wounds.. they would save money. But a few people just blew up and flipped out about asking money for a res. What do you think, i dont want to be the only doc to charge to res someone. If i am the only doc to charge i will just stop ressing. So theres the vote /charge or /no

/charge

I don't charge for groups that I'm in, or for friends that are in the area.. everyone else pays.

As for how much, that would depend on the danger.

If they're dead, it's because there's something nasty enough to kill them nearby waiting to eat you, as well. If they want you to risk your life to save theirs, it's entirely up to you if you want to charge them or not.

Have they ever done anything for you for free? Probably not - most likely, you've never seen them before (and will probably never see them again). Can you do this for them for free? Sure. Should you have to? Absolutely not.

If I can't drag....you don't get a rez. That's not entirely true, but I rarely rez people I don't know. Only exception is if they ask, tip, and don't spam me. Spammer are sent to my ignore list next time they will learn to clone incase they die.

If people aren't willing to pay me for a rez, it's their own damn problem. They can lie there and rot if im the only doc around. I charge 10k a pop, unless I'm with a guild or in a group, in which case it's free.

Guild/Group free, everyone else Pays!

Being a Doc isn't easy, never has been. Ingrediants are hard to come by. Do you walk up to a Gunsmith and ask for a free FWG5. Walk up to an architect and ask for a free harvesters. Tools of the trade you pay. If they whine, they can easily be put on ignore.

Price is up to you. Everybodies Danger level is different. Charge for risk and resources.

i totaly agree if its not a guild member, group member or mate then they pay simple as and by the time you have explained to them that they need to /consent youbefore u can res them 7 out of 10 times you will find your self running for your life as well unless you are with afew people who can distract the thing that killed them while you res, if you cant take it down your self first that is.

i think the best way to work is unless its someone you know or a guild mate then they pay for everything from wound heals, buffs and a res - the only time i might not ask for something in return is if theyseem newto the game or its a new char, i just examine them and see what bages, profs they have if they have nothing then i might just do it for free

Alway always charge for any Doc service, I can't stress that enough. Players have to learn to not take healers and entertainers for granted, and that all services have a price.

Like everyone else has said, guild/group free. ANyone else charge them. I personally dont wear my tag cause I avoid the tell hell as well I made myself unsearchable for these very resons. I once had someone tell me to rezz them and they were over 7k away on LoK b4 vehicles. Told them no cause I would be to late. They got vial about it and I put them on ignore.

i always charge for any service i perform as a master doc. if they complain they just make it easier for me. just another victim of my huge ignore list. lol. even when paid i still consider it a major inconvenience to me to have to run out, find them, then risk my own toons life to rez them. usually i dont even bother with wound healing or state treatment when people ask me to do so. if i ever do those things its just because im either bored or in a good mood and the person didnt ask to have it done. i think the way to address a doctor who's services you are in need of, should be "/tip *insert gracious ammount here* please o master doctor grace me with your hard earned and well deserved power of life giving." if every request came to me like that i would buff, heal, treat wounds, cure states and applaude their courtesy every time.

Well with ya bro...I dont heal people or anything like that in the AH catina. I just let the xp grinding medics/docs do that. Nothing is more irratating then someone running in saying I need healing now or I have major wounds. Makes me want to say good for you. Of course I dont since there is always people waiting to jump all over him/her for the xp. Only if I am in a good mood or bored will I do it for people.
