The following is my results of 100 buffs to verify that BE clothing has an effect. The first 50 were with +25 Injury/Wound Treatment pants on and no other mods. In my skill sheet it said Wound Treatment 100/125. The second 50 were without any BE clothing on.
This took place in a small Tatooine house in a player city.
I buffed my pet each time with 897 power Action Enhance D from the same factory crate. The pet had 0 BF.

I haven't had time to further slice and dice. But there you have it... Under the conditions I described there is a noticable improvement with BE clothing.
I did this test to set a base for further testing with the new Bivoli Tempari to see what additional effect if any it has.
UPDATE
Based on the request of our fine CM Correspondent, I bought a new Swoop Helm that was BE enhanced for +15 Injury and Wound Treatment. I performed another set of 50 Action buffs on my pet... all other variables the same... but now wearing the +25 pants AND +15 Helm. Stat sheet read +140

That averages out to 2144.7 per buff. The increase is RIGHT inline with a +15 increase. The alleged +25 cap does not exist according to this data. Though what I found extremely interesting is that my CEILING did not increase. I still never broke 3K on a buff. But hit right around the same max. However my FLOOR did increase... thus bringing up the average.
Get ready for a nerf when the devs hear about this my fellow docs. Till then GET BE'ed OUT BABY. See what that does for you. I'd like others to test to confirm this data if possible. This is a VERY interesting revelation.

Thanks for the testing
Might I suggest, though, trying the same test with higher then +25 clothing if possible?

Excellent experiment and thank you for posting your data and results. I'm doing a similar experiment to test the efficacy of the new bivoli + wound treatment chef food and will post results in these forums.

In addition to the averages, the statistical distribution of this data is also of great interest. I am very interested in whether we havea Gaussian distribution over the buff range or something else and I am currently working this out with my own data and yours will be very helpful as well.
For now I will note the standard deviations from your data sets. The standard deviation is a statistical characterization of the average uncertainty in a data set.

For those who didnt' pick up the point of all this, it's a way to quantify how random buffs are, a major concern in these forums

It's "something else" Arch - the pseudo-random number generator used by this (and most other) computer games is not too hot since the programmers have use the base C++ rnd() function.
To put it it simply - the numbers are evenly distributed but "streaky", in that number runs are common..........

(Mr. Burns Voice) Interesting (/Mr. Burns voice).
There goes that idea for what happened to some people's buffs...
I have a question in to the devs about stacking (droid, food, etc.)
The food has turned out to be potentially pretty powerful when stacked with existing + mods.

hrmmm.
Try it with a truly insane amount of BE clothes if you can. (I have seen posts of +97 wound treatment around here someplace ha ha).
If it doesn't get too weird, I don't think it would be a priority for the devs to mess with, but if the variability can be very seriously messed with... it might get the bat.
+Injury treatment clothes aren't very expensive, so this is very important.

Doing that now... just bought a + 16 Jacket.
Unfortunately that's all that's available in my player city at the moment... but we'll see what +156 yields.

That's what I was afraid of...
Thanks a ton Match! Can't wait to see what happens with even more BE enhanced clothing.
