Thread: Tumbling, Pet Buffing, or Pet Wound Healing for XP?

Currently, I am Tumbling "Wound Treatment IV", and it seems a little slow. I used Pet Wound Healing for Master Medic, but this tree I used tumbling. (Its hard to find a Commando to burn your pet, or a CM to disease it.) I was wondering what is better, or if I should get Crafting I for Buff As for XP?

Well what is "better" is to join a couple of brawlers who need experience and go to Dantooine to hunt Quenkers. You heal them, they kill quenkers, you all get paid and you might make some friends. I like to call it "playing the game"...

I think yer looking for the grinder route.. tumbling works, as does wound healing.. I suggest going up to 0/2/4/0 first, and then get you some 90 med use buff packs and just buff buff and more buff, and you'll hit master plenty soon

I just did tumbling with my alt and it was really no big deal , in fact I made a macro that crafted and healed all in one , got it out of the way in a day or so . Good luck

find a willing brawler and have them warcry a lair and have them do it over and over and just heal them...alot faster than tumbling

fastest XP for me was when I was healing on dant for a large group that was spamming specials left and right on Lok. I just kept them stimmed up. 20 of us in the group so I couldn't always keep up but wow... experience was so fast. If you can get someone to make up a crate of good stims for ya you will rack in the XP like none other this way.

I did pet wound healing (I was a commando at the time, so it was easy). While I slept I did the tumbling method on a friend. Took about 20 hours total for the medical exp section, and bout 5 for the crafting. I would reconmend getting 0400 first, then some +25 wound clothing, then go buff. You get 1 exp for 2 enchanced stats (2000 enhance = 1000 medic exp). It goes quick, and the money is great.

You know I understand why you wrote this, but really there's no need to be snide. And besides, almost no one goes hunting unbuffed (espeically on Dantooine) and because of this, in field medics are hardly needed. For instance, combat medics are more for offense now than for healing. Even healing player wounds in hospitals isn't a viable way to level to Doctor. People hardly get wounded in fights (except when cloning) and when they do, they can usually find a Doctor sitting outside with a droid to heal their wounds.

The fact of the matter is that increasing low level medic skills at this stage of the game is diffilcult because no one is in need of your skills. Also, people that want to get the benefits of Doctor are not going to sit for 3 months in a hospital healing wounds. And whereas tumlbehealing etc maybe a cheap tactic and technically an exploit, it's more the fault of the game for forcing people to it.

The fastest way for healing xp without combat medic skills is probably with a dancer/musician. If the dancer gets a buff to get them 2-3k action. they can drain their entire 2-3k action pool completely in about 3 seconds or so, which is faster than a single person can usually heal.

macro entertainer should use:

macro name: dance

/startdance exotic3;
/dazzle;
/flourish 8;
/flourish 8;
/dazzle;
/flourish 8;
/flourish 8;
/stopdance;
/macro dance;

A different dance as well as removing the dazzle effect will also work. Maybe not as well.

If your heals average for 1600 damage healed per stim use (using good D's, this much is pretty easy to get), then you should get an average of 6000 xp per minute and about 75 minutes to get the healing xp trees out of the way. Actual in game results will probably vary.

not true. I was just hunting on dath with a group of 13 people killing rancors and only one person was buffed. he was a tka and used VKs so he died about 30 minutes in and lost his buffs. I got 40k xp out of about 45 minutes work.

NOT true for the above reason.

Or hang out at the Cantina in Coronet (or other busy city) and heal entertainers, meet people, socialize. Beats the hell out of tumbling for fun and interaction. Trying to keep 20 people healed is a hoot, if you like the Doc profession.
