A Detatchment HQ is supposed to offer a 25% (I think) bonus to Doctors if we /register in them, according to the manual.

Has anyone tested this on TC now the buff levels are no longer randomised?

I've been running some numbers assuming that it does work...

To hit a 3000 power buff the D packs need to be 906 base. This takes into account using a 110 Droid, +25 Clothing & +25 Bivoli.

Without the +25% of the Faction HQ the buff should hit 2400, with the 25% it's 3001 (rounded).

The Bivoli I make with my chef hits +25 at the moment. I think I may be able to get that to +27 or more with slightly better resources for my BE Additive.

The +25 for the faction HQ would replace the 110 modifier of the droid (think of it as a 125 location modifier, if you want to keep the numbers the same.) Just in case you didn't take that into account in your calculations.

As for testing this, I sure haven't. I'm not even sure where a registerable faction base is on TC.

Ah, in that case, my calculations would be way off.

The base required for a 3000 buff would be 1044... Perhaps we won't be hitting that any time soon

Hiya Zarlor!

I have 5 factional bases in Skystone on Tatooine, 2 forward outposts, the field hospital, the tactical center and the detachment HQ. Please feel free to test in any of them anytime (they are rebel bases and have 14 turrets currently installed, I hope your TC toon is rebel). I have buffed in them and they add nothing to the buff.

Did you /register first? The Detatchment HQ is the only one supposed to give you a bonus, but you have to be registered to gain the bonus.

I'm still neutral on TC right now. But since you have them, then tht is the big question, are these the ones that you can /register in and did you use the .register command before you started to do your buffing?

Yes I did /register in them, both as a overt rebel and covert. I got the exact same buff 2303 to all stats in the bases as I do outside the bases (I have 110% med droid, +25 BE, and currently 10.29% bivoli).

Is it possible your 110 med droid is overriding the 125 HQ bonus? Did you do your buffs in the HQ sans droid?
