I am curious on how you deal with requests for just quickness buffs?

I have had a few people ask for just that one buff. I ask for 2k and they stop away mad.

I guess this is mostly entertainers wanting to floursh longer. But to me it is sort of a pain to use up more of one type of pack then the others as I often buy them as complete sets. Maybe I should start buying extra quickness ones. But still I don't see how it should cost less to do just one buff, it is actually more of a pain for me. Or maybe it is just entertainers that don't use resources to their buffing.

Anyway how do you handle such requests?

I'd just say I only do full sets, most people accept that. Though I make my own packs so it's easy enough to knock up a quickness pack using weaker components as they're not really going to need a great buff.

I was a Master Doc before I started the Holo Grind I would do single-stat buffs... and back then charged 1k... really didn't like it for the reason you stated... it kinda breaks up your buff packs.

When I was on the Holo Grind... before I gave up... I did Dancer, Musician and Entertainer.... and was hitting up the Coronet Docs for Quickness Buffs A LOT... I didn't mind paying 2k for one stat even when they were charging less... they keep you from having to heal or hope somebody heals you while flourishing

Thinking about getting Doc back again w/ the recent buff changes

I've had a few requests. They ask how much I charge and it's my buff price / 6. They pay and I buff them. It's easy.

Entertainers do not need the greatest buffs. So I often have some junk quickness buffs (non great exp results). I just give them one of them.

I try to do my best to help the entertainers. If you thing doc buffing is a pain in the **** you should try to be an entertainer. Think of staying in the cantina to make a living.

Give them some love.

I never make them wait in line. If I dont have junk quickness to give them then I sell them a good buff prorated price. BTW they are often the best tipers out there.

That's just may take on it.

I must say I do like the entertainers as a whole. A good group of people as a whole, almost as good as us Docs

I guess I should look for some extra packs for them. But I am not for giving out free buffs unless they are really junky ones I want to get rid off, I think there is a principle in requiring payment so people don't abuse our talents.

I wonder how much they need?

ie. Our entertainer in town has her stats migrated so she can AFK dance endlessly with no action loss.

BUT, she has no flourishes running.

But, I like the idea of maybe giving out free (or cheap) Enhance A's or B's in Quickness...

Then, you're gonna get the greedy jerk who says "Only plus 800!!!"?

/sigh

I normally buff in Theed and I always am happy to buff entertainers. Dancing a few times myself I know how annoying it can be to run out of action even though there are tons of people standing around who could heal you.
I use my good buffpacks too because the quickness buff will last for 3hrs and 50min. I then just let them tip whatever they want and I get anywhere from 1500 to 9k. Usually after I have buffed one entertainer, I get tells from more because word spreads. I don't mind, I just make an extra crate of quickness buffpacks.

Tons of people around to heal, except when I'm in a cantina I healthe people who I'm actually physically watching. Because, that's why I'm there. I don't need the xp by healing the other dancers. I would expect the same from them if they were a master doctor, to not heal me.

customers determine what sells, not us. If people are asking for quickness buffs -- sell them. If there is a large demand for them, produce extra.
