Recently, I have come up with a (Despiteful) way of combating the opposing Covert Faction members.

With the out break of Combat Medics grief tef'ing, i have decided to "Grief Buff".

Whenever I see an imperial strike team enter, I always bust out the "Enhance Action & Health Pack A's." These have been experimented to last over an hour duration. Yes, i have been accused of "Ninja Buffing or Grief Buffing" , but i do feel that if they are going to strike covertly - then they assume the risk of a Rebel Factioned Doctor buffing their stats for 60 health and action at 1 hour's time.

This has allowed my alligned groups to win a many of battles - by not letting the imperials buff themselves without having to die first.

Just looking for everyone's thoughts and input on this battle tactic.

Thank you kindly,

The new patch will take care of poorspirited tactics like this--allowing better buffs to be placed over old ones. And thank the force too...b/c Its you're just annoying players not competing fairly with your skills--when you attack someone, you know who did it and can (assuming you don't die) strike back. The grief buff keeps the attacker perfectly safe--you aren't overt so they cannot attack you. They cannot do anything to you except grief buff you back...

Even with the combat med or rifleman and their one shot kills, theoreticaly ifyou had enough spice/mindbuff/food your mind might survive long enough to attack them--or have someone else in your group attack. There is nothing anyone can do to stop a grief buffer unles they are overt, but in which case, they couldn't buff opposing faction people.

I have been grief buffed just loading into starport before...no idea what cowardly sick person did it-- I wasn't overt, wasn't there to raid, just had loaded in while changing planets....

If anyone else engages in the GCW and attacks the opposite faction they can immediately be attacked in return. Using this cheap tactic no one can attack him. It's just another form of griefing.

i didn't ask to be flamed, i was looking for input.

Need i bring up the covert Combat Medics who can 1 Tick drain anyone's mind from 64+m out?

Or the Rifleman who are super soldiers with the 3 shot mind trick...or the most melee defense in the game.

Oh im sorry let me rephrase it, it is a bad tactic people like you are the reason for the upcoming change.

And no you dont need to bring up rifleman or CM because it has nothing to do with your post. but as far as "3 shot mind trick" If you are unbuffed then its far less than 3 shots coming from my t21, if you are buffed itsMUCH harder but of course no one expects you to know that. And the CM's well im not one, but i became a doctor because of themand i could come up with plenty of ways to beat a CM. Your so called "Tactic" on the other hand is nothing more than griefing and has no way to get around it. So again becauseof people like you they had change the whole buffing systemso people could do something about it . So now there is no randomness to buffs there fore no extremly high or extremely low chance of buffs with good packs (thank god) and you will never be able to use your "Tactic" again.,

got it?

actually i thought it was a creative use of your non combat profession in helping out your faction the only way you saw a way to do so. i wouldnt personally do it because of all the crap i know i would get. i prefer to avoid that kind of thing, but congrats on thinking out of the box. to me this is no different than double agents. people create alt accounts and join the opposing faction. they get warrant officer 3 so they can determine a base's status. then they can just relay the inside info to faction comrades. cheesy, but smart tactics. seems similar to me since neither can be attacked for their transgressions. on the other hand, more than likely any strike team will be pre buffed before a raid on an opposing strong hold. if they arent then they would die anyways and your buff would just make it a tiny bit harder to kill them. no one gets buffed in the middle of a raid. hehe. they might even give you a tiny tip for doing it.

I sense the dark side in you.........

Ok did you even read my post? I don't like to flame anyone, but I discussed the CM/rifleman and why its different than your so called tactic...So again, given enough food and mind buff, you would have a *chance* to strike back. You do not even give them a chance with this grief buff.
