Does anyone know the new formula to calculate what your buffs should be?

Thanks,

nimh

It's sitckied on this forum in the TC Publish 7 thread.

Base * (1 + (woundtreatment skill/100)) * (droid or building rating/100)

I suppose I should add that I'm not certain where BF modifies this (keeping in mind that BF under 200 should be having no effect and I'm not positive if Doctor skills mitigate the affects of BF),it could really be:

(Base * (1 + woundtreatment skill/100) * (droid or building rating/100)) * (1-BF/1000)

or

Base * (1 + woundtreatment skill/100) * (droid or building rating/100+(1-BF/1000))

Or some other method. I just haven't tested any of that yet.

BF should be the same as it was before every 10 pts = 1% (400 BF = 40% reduction)... Still nto clear if it starts counting at 200 or 300 though (20% and 30% repectively).

Can you elaborate on how woundtreatment skill is modified?

I assume Master Doc 100 is a base.

What are the caps for the rest? Is bivoli capped at +25?

Are BE clothes capped at +25?

Is the combo of the two capped at +25?

Does doctor battle fatigue affect buffs?

If you have mismatching BE/Bivoli modifications, does it add them or take the highest of the two? Like bivoli +22 and BE clothes +24, do you get a bonus of +25, +22, +24 or +46?

Ok, I'll stop pestering ya now.

Yep

Not sure. Possibly not.

Are BE clothes capped at +25?

Any clothing-based skill modifiers cap out at a total of +25, that includes BE modifiers as well as any mod from skill tapes.

Is the combo of the two capped at +25?

No. They stack.

Does doctor battle fatigue affect buffs?

No. Only the patient's BF.

+46. They stack.

BTW, I've mentioned this before, but for those folks interested in how this formula compares to what is occuring currently on the Live servers, this IS the fomula used on Live. The Only difference is that the result of that fomula is then multiplied by a random number between .5 and 1.5.

so with this formula

Base * (1 + (woundtreatment skill/100)) * (droid or building rating/100)

a 815 power pack will buff for around 2k with 110 droid and +25 be clothes?

that seems low i am not even a mster doc and i would say my average now is atleast 2200.

I can guarantee you that your actual average is what you will be buffing for under the same conditions when the patch goes live. If you think you are seeing a higher average it's either statistical anomoly or you're misremembering the high or low buffs that you are getting. All this formula does is to remove the random .5 to 1.5 multiplier that we currently have on live. Otherwise the forumula is EXACTLY the same.

Yea but you are also taking out the randomness of the buffing causing you to buff all stats for around 2k instead of one buff at 3k and another buff at 1k. I would rather have 2k on all stats at TKM than random ass buffs. Its overall better.

If I'm doing this right, at Master Doc with +25BE and 110 droid.

Bivoli adds 1.1% of the Buff pack per + point. So +25 Bivoli adds 247 to a 900 buff pack.

Nice.

Actually with this system be/biv is more important that buff pack power.

A 700 pack on be/biv is STRONGER than a 950 pack, without, and a LOT cheaper to make.

700 x 2.496 x 1.1 = 1921 vs 950 x 2 x 1 = 1900

I'll buy the biv and use my be clothes thanks, WAAAAY easier than making a 950 power pack.

950 x 2.496 x 1.1 = 2608 So 700 points more for how much more money? A ton more.

I'll take this anyday:

800 x 2.496 x 1.1 = 2196

800 is fairly cheap to make, and with a +2200 to each ham, my human is at 2600, good enough for me.

um, credits aren't exactly tough to come by. i'll pay whatever the guaranteed 2600 buffs cost.
