Thread: Desired Rewards
As a note, my biggest disapointment so far were the awards from those within the Imperial Retreat.
What would I like to see? Schematics for crafters to use would work with any reward really, so those are good. They'd be limited and special.
Something unique, extremely unique.. doesn't have to be for combat, just something special. I got bangles from the Emperor... ummm... that's unique and all, but Bangles?
Clothing, uniforms, ST Armor perhaps that can be gotten at a level when it's useful?
Quests that are limited in how long they're around? So a bunch of people would get this quest only items, then the quest would be gone?
The Imperial Retreat was fun because I felt like I was doing something for the Empire, but I got rewarded with crap. Uniforms, promotions, something. And When I did a mission for the Emperor... he gave me 10 FP?? The Emperor should start at a minimum of 100 FP for a quest, he's the Emperor!
How about something like... "Unique Color Palette" where you could color a piece of armor outside the color a crafter can? I dunno.. I always wanted Imperial Purple Composite.
Practice Devices that a JEdi can use to skill up a certain Tier of there skill. Like luke had on the Falcon.
It could be done like Fishing with a Control Box.
For example when ya use it and lasers come out you hear a voice go to the left parry, Etc etc, Make these Rare drops for folks..
There have been lots of great ideas posted here. Most seem to be for Ub3r L00t, but I'm sure the dev's see right through those requests, sigh, and move on.
Along the line of trophies, I heard a great idea go by. Paintings and screenshots. How about if the game took a random angle screenshot of the killing blow and made it into a lootable painting. People would do the quest/dungeon often but not often enough to cause camping. Or since we're in the spirit of promoting crafters right now, make it a lootable screenshot the crafters can put into a painting for you.
Seriously, I would like to vote against item drops that enhance stats/power/whatever. The krayt items are the best example. Look at what that has brought out in people? Mean, nasty, greedy, rude campers from EQ.

Also,how about a one-useitem that gives you XP of the type you choose
Also.there should be some tough or at least long missions designed for the non-combat classes,like inter-planetary deliver missions,or crafting(NOT sampleing!)

I think there needs to be various types of awards for NPC missions.
1. Money - most quests
2. Badges - certain multiphase, story based quests
3. faction points - all quests not just rebel imperial, if you do a quest for a townsfolk it should increase your townsfolk faction, likewise for thief increase faction in that area.
4. experience or notoriety - all quests, amount based on difficulty.. something needs to be added to game to give long-time players some way to distinguish themselves from newer players, badges are one thing but a meter that accumulates experience points for each completed quest would be another. This could be used in various ways in-game such as low level npc's won't attack chars with high notoriety despite negative faction (ala Boba Fet).. another way could be at preset levels of exp the total stats get a +10, so completing npc quests can eventually allow you to have a stonger character with more total points to divide in HAM bars although not really unbalancing anything as you would be getter better and stronger irl by completing all of these quests and gaining the in the field exp so to speak.
Also would event like to see notoriety or exp meter open up higher level terminal quests instead of just combat stats which really hurt smugglers and medics, and everyone pretty much on planets like dath where high level quests can no longer be gotten from terminals.
5. additional quests or being directed to other npc's for higher lvl > reward quests which can only be gotten if you complete the 1st quest - can have multiple starting quests, 2nd level and filter down to a few really high level if you keep on etc.. eventually some rare items would be nice, even if they are only decorative or to enhance crafted items.
The schematic idea is great.....and i like the special title above ur name idea as well. id also like to see something dropped that you could take to an image designer for a special tatoo. i walk around without a **edit** most of the time and id like to have a huge imperial symbol tatooed there
I also think they should impliment your faction title above ur name when ur declared like it says in the guide books ![]()

PS. As far as Theme Parks go it should be borne in mind that once completed that's it, over. Anything you got from doing the Theme, once used, is gone for good since no one person can ever do a Theme twice, so I think giving out decent gear for doing them impacts crafters very little. To incorporate crafters, each part of the theme could give out a part of the weapon, with the final mission giving out the schematic, all of which then needs to be taken to a crafter (these items could give significantly better crafting exp. than normal items).
