considering your not investing in BH skills, scout isnt a requirement, only a personal preference. I think one of the most over looked features of scout is the terrain negotiation ability which helps reduce travel time alot. But truthfully, scout skills dont really give any kind of PvP bonus as traps dont work on people.

If you stay within cities, you'll be fine in PVP. However, people often can and will run up hills to get away and those that cannot catch up to them (lack of exploration) will be left behind. I, personally, have always had exploration 4. I've been making Bounty Hunter characters since I can remember in the Beta.

Corellia seems to be a good place to fight if you don't want exploration and yet PVP. The last time I fought there, I never actually even brought the fight outside of Coronet.

I was thinking of making my carbine character go all the way to Master Carbine. For I do not want to train in scout skills again...already have a Ranger and do not want to repeat the labor in training scout.

How many of you do not have scout skills and for those that do not how good do you do in PvP?

the problem is, that for city limits, carbines do not tend to be the best weapon choice ,)
