Image Designers aren't so hot.

Then there are those horrible Creature Handlers no one plays.

I dunno. I think Image Designers are pretty well-rounded from what I can tell -- it's just not a profession with a broad appeal. But for those who would be drawn to it naturally -- roleplayers with a fashion sense, or just very socially oriented people in general, it seems like there's plenty there to satisfy them. They just don't serve much of a game mechanic role, but I'm not sure they should.

Not that I don't think it would be really cool if the faction system slowly "exposed" you as you did bigger, cooler, or more numerous things in the GCW (consistently high kill counts on battlefields, really tough or one-time-per-character faction quests, prominent roles for one side or the other in story-related events, etc.), eventually driving you into semi-permanent forced overt -- unless you either laid low for awhile (didn't participate in factional stuff)or made a visit to an experienced Image Designer to help you go back undercover by significantly altering your appearance at great resource and/or monetary expense, possibly requiring some specialized mission rewards (like faked ID cards or somesuch).

But until something like that were to happen, of course Image Design will be a purely aesthetic market, and I think that it does admirably in covering that role.

Advanced Image Designers can do stuff that the normal characer creation can't. Hence their demand.

Let's be real for a second here. Neither Carbineers or Doctors are broken. Just because one has skills with HAM costs that are too high and the other has a dumb skill they kept in for no reason does not = broken. Carbineers can still kill in combat, very effectively. Doctors can still heal, very effectively.

Commandos have problems killing kreetles. BioEngs make animals that can't be used and have worse stats than wild ones. DroidEngs spend an entire tree to make 1 pet which will now be nerfed to being useless.

I mean, have you tried using medical forage at all? God it only does like 1 item per time? HOW ARE THEY EVER SUPPOSED TO SURVIVE ON THAT OMFG!>!!>! THEY ARE SO GIMPED FOR SURE.

Check it out. I'm still laughing.

I guess if they are whining about this that they have never played a carbineer.

.... Commandos

.... Droid Engineers

.... Squad Leaders

.... Bio-Engineers

.... Chef

.... Merchant

Those are the professions that I think are as-bad if not worse-off than Carbineers.

I'd love to explain each if you need me to.

So? I didn't see doctors on your list? And thus the reason of this post. They are certainly not on the bottom of the totum pole.

I concur wholeheartedly. Doctors are pretty fine. But you made it sound like Carbineer is the worst-off, and its not, just one of many professions in a bad state.

I think, in the interests of the continued legitimacy of the Carbineer debate, Jigglypoo997 refrain from posting abusive and downright ludicrous posts on other profession forums. It makes us look worse than the 'whining doctors'.

I stopped laughing as soon as you posted.

hehe threats are kinda silly when it comes to healing wounds. if someone has survival 4 the camp can heal like 20 wounds every 5-6 minutes, where as the regular camps and med cnters do 10. go sit in a med center while ya eat or bath or before bed or before work/school you be healed up by time ya get back dependingunless ya havent learned why it pays to clone on the planet ya fighting on And there's always eager new medics needing the xp so usually ya all healed up sooner than expected, just sit on a bed and go afk. If someone healed yaa bunch, float a tip and move on. the heal messages and by whom should be in log.

I must be missing something here...

Remember who you are bad mouthing the next time your sorry carbine totin arse gets killed and your bars are 1/2 black. You think it is free making meds and giving them away? Why don't you try it... How about Architects start just handing out houses and hoping that you tip them for it? Maybe the armorsmiths will just provide armor to anyone that needs it free of cost?

Yes medical forage is useless, especially when that Action wound pack I just used up trying to get you back out and fighting used over 75 resources to make, not to mention the time to put together 3 seperate componets and hope like hell I don't crit fail on any of them, then put together the primary and if I fail on that then I start all over again.

So yeah we have a reason to complain about it, think about it next time you are waiting in line to be healed and are all ready to give that 100 cr tip
