Thank-you for representing us. It takes guts to put yourself out on a limb voulentarily(sp).

Having said that,I have a uniuqe perspective on the HAM cost issue.

THE SITUATION: Every class has the ability to kill them selves. This is achieved through the "spammng" of specials. I think we all can agree on that.

THE REASON: dosen't make sense, from day one it didn't make sense. If I am at the butt end of a carbine, I'm not shooting myself. I think we can agree on that also.

THE ANALYSIS: If I pull a trigger on a carbine and shoot you, why would I be less healthy? I can understand, I will get tired if I keep shooting you. My mind might also get tired from shooting you. I will not be less healthy once I stop shooting you. Unless you are shooting me...........

This is what I hope you will sugest to the developers on our behalf and the other professions as well. Make special attacks affect the appropriate secondary stat.

SUGGESTED SOLUTION: (Some of this may be incorporated already)

Give specials a dynamic cost. Battle fatigue, quickness and focus should determine a base special cost. (I could be wrong about focus, maybe its willpower). Then take the special cost modifier from the weapon you are using. That would equal your specials cost.

Then once in battle, everytime you use a special you drain a little ACTION. But what would be affected more is your QUICKNESS stat. As your quickness goes down, so does your ability to quickly perform special attacks. And to a lesser extent, your MIND willdrop.

THE RESULT: As you continue to do an action its cost increases with each use. It is not static. And Most actions do not affect any primary pool to a great extent. I see the actions as a hinderance to repetition and regeneration to the Primary stats.

I hope this makes sense. If not, I will do my best to re-write it you wish. If anyone else agrees or disagrees with me, please post your opinion. I think this could solve lots of problems for more than just the carbineers.

All I can come up with is hearing Han's voice over in the noob tutorial saying, "This place is gonna blow." I guess that's about it. At least Han was honest.
Playing SWG is like licking a steel post in the wintertime. Sure it hurts. If you leave, parts of you will remain.

----May the FARCE be with you
---If you don't think too good, don't Think too much.
------I'm not wrong, I am mistaken.
---I'm not argueing, I'm agreeing in reverse.

I agree 100% its silly that I get hurt when i use a special attack. It needs to be taken out somehow.
