My first question is:

What's a good stat migration for a carbineer?

My other question is:

What's the difference in stats between a dh17 and dh17 snub?

Sorry if these were already addressed (and probably were). If so please redirect to the orginal thread(s). Thx.

Only difference between DH17 short (or standard) and snub versions is the ideal range and accuracy. Snub is ideal at 25, short at 35. Snub's also a little less accurate, but not enough for me to care. I use it for pointblank or closerange fighting now that the HAMs are fixed. It's also an excellent weapon to use for effect-spamming, in PvP groups for example.

I personally prefer the snub to the standard/short. The closer ideal seems to give me a little more accuracy if I can grab 5-10m on a melee target.

As for migrations, it all depends on race and what else you do and how much you pvp. I'm human -- I have my secondary actions maxxed, my strength minimum and constitution mid-range, and then (since I also do a fair amount of surveying) my mind secondaries high. Pool sizes are 900/900/700. I find this setup means that I use action and health fairly evenly when pounding away at specials, while not touching my mind. This leaves my mind full as a buffer against swordsmen and riflemen, and means that neither action nor health is especially attractive to target. I have, however, been thinking of bumping up my strength a few points, probably at the expense of some focus.

There are plenty of theads talking about stat migrations, though. Browse back a page or two to find dozens of posts on the subject.
