Thread: Where do Elite Carbs come from?
That's not entirely true. I personally bought mine from a master weaponsmith (Corbantis server).
Prior to getting it sliced, it really wasn't worth crap. Now at least it does 83-156 damage. I can't remember the other stats as I'm at work, but not really that much to stand out against other carbines. It's like a better version on an E11 (and looks very similar to an E11 too). Nothing really noteworthy...
i was told by a master weaponsmith that the reason elite carbs are for master level is because elite carbs ignore armor.
yes, thats right.
any creature or player that gets shot and has armor equipped immediately nullifies i think 20-50% of damage. because the elite carbine has armor pierce, this does not happen.
the dxr6 has this ability also, and because it does acid damage, its probably the #1 choice in PvP. or would be if HAM costs were fixed. elite carbine is good i think...i just never decided to fork over 30k to test one out. i'd rather use my e-11 with 150 damage 2.8 speed in pvp. seeing as how not many people know how armor really works yet.
Jara.
I received an Elite Carbine made by Zarathustra on Naritus last night.
I do NOT have the stats with, but the numbers were very close to my DXR6:
88-144/4.2, 32/45/17 HAM, I think.... but much better ranged mods, it was something like -38/8/-50.
