KNOCKDOWN WILL PROBABLY GET NERFED!!


It will probably get a timer. If you get hit by knockdown, you will probably be immune to itfor1 minute after the knockdown effect wears off. Well thats what they did in daoc, they might do it here too. They probably copied the pet lvl cap limit in daoc too.



So don't fall in love withknockdown too much. You might hate it after the nerf andhave to respec and level up again.

Well, carbineers get a version of knockdown too so your not completely out of luck. Anyways, I'm all for a nerf of knockdown, you can solo pretty much anything with it.

knockdown is needed, what i think should happen is remove the damage on it completly. people are spamming it. i only use knockdown if a melee gets too close to me and pets cant peel.

DAOC jakced pet limit from UO for your information. and yes, i think knockdown should be nerfed from a pve perspective a tad...no, adjusted is a better word really, just a change to percentage chance and such. maybe lower damage.

Are you folks that are asking for another Knockdown adjustment actually using the skill in PvE, becasue it does NOT keep the Mob on the ground any length of time unless you SPAM it at the MOB it will get up and gnaw on you. Carbine users don't have the HAM pools to spam knockdown at higher level mobs without killing themselves.


I agree that the first adjustment to knockdown was needed, though I think it may have went a bit too far, I could do with the MOB staying down a few seconds longer, but with the new resistances and the shorted knockdown durration I hardly ever use my knockdowns unless a MOB gets up on a group member and then I spam away but usually end up at less than 25% health for my effort.


The Knockdown's in the Carbine line are a joke for the HAM they cost and the length of time the MOB stays down you may as well not bother, the Bounty Hunter knockdowns are more usable becasue at least they also are a decent amount of damage even though you are just casuing the mob to studder step.
