Hi all,

It was the BH vs Carabineer argument that made me wonder this, is it a % point increase, if not what? If a true PvP nut wanted the Uber character, he/she could become Master Carabineer as well as taking the Carbine line from bounty hunter (or pistol for that matter).

Speed Accuracy

Marksman +20 +40

Master Mksman +5+10

Carabineer(Inc Novice & Master)+35 +55

Bounty Hunter +60 +60

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Total Carbineer(Exc Master Marksman+55+105

Total Bounty Hunter(inc Master Marksman)+85+100

TotalBounty Hunter/Carbineer Combo+120 +165

I've probably boobed with the numbers somewhere, but you get the idea.

It results in a pretty one dimensional character, who can't even progress all the way up the Investigation line, but WHAT a Carbineer.

Your numbers are slightly off for speed at some point, the maximum speed bonus you can get is +115 for carbine. Bounty hunter only gets +50 speed, I guess marksman would be +25 then because the carbineer one should be right.. I dont have numbers here though so not sure, just know its +115 total

Anyways, it's hard to say what the exact increase on the speed is, because at least at the moment it definitely isnt consistent like that. Somewhere in the tree you'll end up shooting everything you fire with every gun I've tested so far at a 1.0 speed, and it happens in between +50 and +95 mod. Compare this to a carbineer with +50 skill mod, they'll shoot crippling shots at.. 7 seconds per shot.

It's a pretty **edit** big upgrade to be actually intended, plus the whole thing makes gun speed totally irrelevant, special move speed modifiers dont matter one bit, only thing it comes down to after you get over that point is the damage minimum/maximum and armor rating of your gun. And ham costs, of course. It's sure fun to burn through your entire ham pools in 10 seconds without even getting hit

Accuracy wont matter either because at +165 accuracy you'll miss about once a day or something
