I want to bring up this issue. I think its relevant to all groups, but I'll bring it up here.

How do we, as non-Devs, know whether something is working? broken? not working right?

We can't unless the description of the skills is 100% accurate. I am seeing post after post by people asking what a skill does, is it supposed to do that, debates on whether a skill should or shouldn't be AoE, etc. Really, we should not be having these discussions. There should be only 1 simple question, is the skill working right?

I think this is a serious issue and it can be solved in one of 2 ways. The first way would be for the Correspondent to suggest that SoE make every effort ASAP to be sure the skill descriptions are 100% accurate. The second, and possibly better mainly because it could probably take place sooner, would be for a SoE respresentitive that is intimately involved with carbineer design have a short...perhaps30 min discussion with the Correspondent. The Correspondent can ask how the skills that we are questioning are supposed to work and we can see if that is or isn't true.

I say this as a poster child for the carbineerproblems. I am a 0,0,0,0 novice carbineer. I am frustrated with HAM costs. The damage on carbines doesnt even seem to be superior to pistols (I have a 55-115, 2 sec scout blaster...the typical laser carbine on my server is 15-200, 4.6). The skills may or may not be working depending on how you define working. Basically, I am second-guessing my decision to be a carbineer in favor of pistols and I cannot even make an educated decision because I don't even know what the class is supposed to be!

Lastly, I want to add that in suggesting this am I am no way attacking SOJ or saying SOJ is doing a poor job. I make this as a specific suggestion to carbines but at this point in the game, it is relevant to several professions.

Thank you.
