I posted this in the Marksmen forum too, but wasn't getting any replies, sorry for the double post!

OK, last weapon to work for master marksmen. I had pistol down, rifle was a breeze. How the heck are you suppose to use a carbine? Not good at sniping from a distance, and doesn't have anything compared to headshot. Pistol you could just kneel and bodyshot them when they got on top of you, easy. But carbine.....right now I'll try to hit them at 60 meters, and do as much damage as possible before they get close, then kite them along for awhile, not very effective. Any ideas?? Am I missing something?

just prone and spam leg shot if you're still a marksman... I'd suggest a Laser or E11 carbine, (more in favor of laser though)

If you have action shot I'd recommend starting combat with that as it will put an action bleed on your target. And if your target is a melee type only, it will buy you an extra round or so of free hits before they can charge you due to the posture change.

After that, if it's an easy target I typically use auto attack to save HAM and throw in an action shot every 3 rounds or so. Else, alternate between action shot and legshot.
