Today i was wonder when i was useing my Zabrak Carbineer when i used some action points they went down pretty fast so i was wondering would a Bothan be better but theni thought about the defensive side and now im in a debat with myself to make a new bothan Cabineer or continue my legacy with my Zabrak. So then i thought who better to ask for help than the people them selves and i beg of u plz tell me your thoughts on the two spices

I'm a Zabrak and I heal faster than my human counterparts. It depends how you migrate your pool stats.

I'm a Twi'lek and loving it. They have high action pools and bonuses to their action pool.

im using a Rodian and my action regen stat is dropped to the lowest it can go (750) and It regens quick. My only problem is Health HAM hits.

They all have postives and negatives, but if you are going Zabrak its a must to take advantage of the mind pool strength i.e. get some medic skills otherwise you'll have problems with downtime/HAM costs.

Once you have C/D kits though its not a problem, and you can use them lots with the insane mind regen...

Bothan Carbineer/Combat Medic here. Aside from health hits, which should be offset by a slight stat migration soon, I'm doing fine.

zabraks have really low heal rates, so unless you want to be a medic and a carbineer i wouldnt go that way. Then again Bothans are weak and short. Just be a Human or Wookie.

IMO Zabrak do better in PvP. Due to equilibrium. I have a low mind pool, so some one could effectivly kill me in 2-3 shots with a rifle, dispite my helm. well with this skill (admitdly 1 hour per use) I can equilze my stats just before I die, taking what he though was a quick 2 shotter to a long 4 shotter. while I of course rape him with my carbine barrel all the time.

Regen rates only equate to down time. when fighting creatures, either you have the HAM to kill it, or you die.

it really doesnt matter, equilibirem? isnt going to save you when all pkers just knock you down or 2 hit you. They get the jump on you, you're dead either way. Defense bonuses arent working too well either.

All races can migrates stats to very decent rates.

the difference str and quickness make is really rather small unless your talking 200 points difference. a 50 point difference will only change the cost of a special about 3-4 points. thats not much and in pvp your either winning real fast or dying real fast, so theres no real concern about regen and such. in larger faction battles where you have more of a front line and rear guard kind of thing going on, it can be a bit more important, but with medics around its not really a issue. also, these HAm costs will come down when we get fixed sometime, so things will get better.

as far as issues with pvp go, str and quickness are the least of worries. pvp is all about who gets the first shot and it simply shouldnt be that way. pvp is a joke right now and i dont think that its going to get fixed in the next 6 months to be honest.

i take it you guys havent played in big PvP player battles yet. You need to have high strength and quicknesss pools to offset your HAM usage. You also need to prioritze your targets, if you see a rifleman and a pistoleer with about the ame health, go for the rifleman, unlesss you have a low willpower he will only get in one good shot before you kill him. Pistols just arent that great in PvP. Anyways unless you are good you usually wont survive long in PvP. Also dont wear armor. It might absord some damage but it screws your regen rates. And as someone said here, it all depends on how you migrate your stats

Mad, I dont believ e thats true, I pvp all the time. Pvp is fast.

In general, pvpers dont care about how much per shot they take in ham, therefor its over in 2 hits. Like the guy above said, you wont even notice much unless its 200+ more. This goes for all stats basiclly, do some test yourself if you wish. The diffrence is small.
