If you mean "why are we not being fixed in 'the big patch'", I'm sure I can answer that for you.

The reason your issues (brought to the devs by the correspondents) aren't being fixed in the big patch is that the development cycle for the patch was completed only shortly after the correspondent system was started. I would be willing to bet that the next major patch will be a restructuring of many of the class skills across the board.

I've said this in so many other threads, but developing games the right way is NOT EASY. Be glad that they're going to take the time to consider the suggestions, and bring them into design sessions before just implementing them. You would be surprise how quickly a good game can be ruined by fixes and changes made in haste.

You would also be surprised, but I can't edit my post, so you'll have to deal with being both surprise and surprised. Heh.

Az if you think this game was developed the right way, you need to get out more. We are paying a monthly fee to beta test a game. As for fixes and changes made in haste, just look at CH. They are crippling that class, by doing just that. Honestly this game was released too early with bad planning for customer support.

Also lets not forget that the major Melon nerf was far more important than getting the game working.

Other than that, I agree that it needs to be fixed "properly" not quickly but, they screwed the pooch releasing this game broken. Now they are losing customers because their performance has been lacking. I just hope that when it finally gets fixed I am still around to see it work.

Still here but patience getting thin... Blizzard anyone?

Why do they call it a "monthly" storyline, when you can finish it in 2 days. Shouldn't they call it a "2 day storyline, every month"?

Perhaps its because we are not broken, although commando and BEs seem to be getting the shaft more or less. We have problems, but at least we arent worthless, and can hold our own.

Not to mention they're making droids into really crappy pets.

While carbines are screwed up, other classes admittedly have it way worse.

While adjusting the special move modifiers within the specials is simple enough, I can see how that would require a bit of testing before being put into effect also.

Im a novice carbineer and a novice commando. can you guess which one is not being fixed. no? I'll give you a hint, all my commando certs are screwed up and the flamethrower with the damage it does, realy would make a fine space heater.

The game has serious issues that need to be addressed, but im sorry some people are just over reacting. If youve ever been a part of the launch of a major MMORPG then you would know this is typical, this is what happens. The game will work itself out and balance will come, but every game that comes out (UO, EQ, etc..) takes several months to find a semi-permanent balance with the players.

We must remind ourselves that the game hasnt even been launched for 2 whole months....
