Thread: Questions About the Elite Carbine.
What are the HAM costs on it?
Because I currently have an EE3 with 40-153 damage, 3.5 spd, and pretty low HAM cost (don't remember for sure, around 25-35-20 I think)
I don't think the intent was to create a linear scale for weapons to progress, like in level based mmo's like EQ and DAOC. I think the intent was to have every weapon above the CDEF and possibly even next level (dh-17 in our case) have specific advantages and disadvantages. The elite carbine, for example, if those stats are correct would have the largest minimum damage of any carbine that I've personally seen. I see the EE3 has an AE effect (broken or not), and then there is the large damage/high variance/low speed laser carbine.
This is the trend I've seen for all the weapons, not just the carbines.
The reason they moved them down is because when they first put it in the beta testers revolted. Personally I like the old system better but oh well.
It's so hard to tell the qualities with weapons right now when the special metal you need shows up and it's completely worthlesscrap. How do you compare that to a lower level gun made with the best materials you can find?
