Dont know if anyone else has noticed but their seems to be a maximum xp cap for carbine of just over 4k carbine xp for any mob, is this intended or another bug?

There's no exp cap for carbines at 4k per mob, there probably is however some sort of exp (soft?)cap for what you can get if the mob starts getting too high compared to your skill level.

not true when i first got actionshot1 was able to solo kimo's before they nerfed it and was only getting just over 4k carbine xp, iam almost 50% way through carabineer tree nowand taking onsimilardifficultymobs are still only giving me 4k xp, plus when hunting with Master BH yesterday 1 of us wouldsolo a difficultmob and would get 4k carbine xp, after we tried then teaming togetherand attacked same typemobswe wouldEACH get 4k xp. So that the thoery that their is a soft cap based on your skill level dosent seem to hold up.

I dont really know if there is one or not, I never really payed attention to the exp gains like that.. but I know I can get over 5k carbineexp per mob solo, so there's no actual carbine exp cap for sure

I've gotten 6 from kimos.

I've noticed a similar occurance. I was killing some spiders in dathomir, and wether I burst shotted them 20 times or 10 times I seemed to get 3800 carbine exp every time. So I do think there is a cap per mob, but its not a universal cap for all mobs.

well thats because that creature only gives that much exp

There is a cap on XP on ALL weapons, not just carbines. It's relative to your skill level. I used to get 4k off of some mobs, now I can get 5k (prolly can get 6k with an elite carbine).

well looks like we carbineers been shafted again as my BH friend just told me now she has Lightning Cannon is now racking in 11k xp per mission lair she destroys with it where as for the same mission type i am only getting a bit over 4k xp with either laser carbine or EE3
