i found one of these things the other night and i dont know what it does. its a while thing that looks like a disk of some sort and just says skill enhancemet +2 in yellow. when i examine it, its for carbines. unfortuanately i use pistols...im on corbantis if anyone can tell me what it is. name is dursken rahm.

Its a socket item.
You can get clothes/packs etc with sockets in.
You add the item to those, & they give additional bonuses, in this case +2 to carbine
