Thread: Just got action shot. Wow! I really feel powerfull!

It's all in the title! Didn't tried in pvp but in pve it's reaaaally nice. One action shot and the creature stop moving. I can then use 3 leg hit before using another action shot. They never get to me... I love that

Not to mention that it causes action pool bleeding (and pretty hefty bleeding at that). It's very nice.

Action Shot seems to have supression fire's effect on the skill. So the target will go from standing to kneeling if fired at. I'm pretty sure this is not intended. The action drain is based on weapon damage, it seems. Also, it takes the highest drain that you did. So if you fired your first shot and it was "200 dmg" it would drain 200 damage. Then maybe you fired 10 more times and all damages were under 200, it would still drain 200. Then if you happened to damage the creature above 200, it would take that damage.


From using it on Tortons for a while.. that's what I seemed to pick up.

Action Shot 2 is even better.


You get a large group of Squalls behind you andsince it's an area attack, Action Shot 2 will stop them all and damage them all.


Good way to level faster.

Regardless, Action Shot 1and 2 should not be having that effect. It is a bug. It appears that supression fire doesn't do anything because it's effect is misplaced.

Interesting, if the knockdown effect is a bug and belongs to Suppression Fire, that means ALL ranged weapon users will have that ability, not just carbine users.


Is this really what they want? Mass knockdown with every single weapon including Rifle?


I think the knockdown effect belongs somewhere in the Carbine tree, but maybe not on Actionshot.

We get it at ChargeShot1, but thats like 180,000 Combat XP to reach... (assuming you did marksman line)...

first remeber its posture change for suppression fire not knockdown. there is a big difference in the two in pvp. posture change does nothing to a player because if you kneel as soo as you start moving you stand up. this means supression fire does nothing to a running enemy. meanwhile knockdown puts them flat on their back where they cant attack. knockdown is much more effective.if you believe try a one hand brawler try lunge the try a lunge dizzy combination and see what happens.

Check out the BH Carbine ability Underhand Shot if you want a great knockdown.
