you really should read entire board before posting. In short dont but dh 17 right now period. give it a week or two. they currently bugged making them require a rifle stock which drastically increases ham cost. The devs are aware of this fact and are fixing it but right now the DH17 is more threat to you then it to anything you are hunting.

Lemme recommend an E11.

The damage isn't as high as DH17, but ham is way low and they fire in the 3 second range, which in the end actually lets you put out some good damage.

Alos, laser carbines from S&W, paid 40k for a 19-208 dmg carbine with decent ham costs (is 137 action pool for full auto, mid 90's for legshot/scatter shot).

I second that. I have a well crafted E11 and it kicks butt. My Overpowered1 shots do in the range of 300-400 damage. Most things that con white to me drop in two shots, and most lairs go down in 4 or 5. The Legshot1 and FullAuto1 guzzle Action points though, so have to be careful using them.

Try finding a low E-11 or EE3

Some of The Pistols are bugged, because some of them have 1.8-1.9 reloads without slicing and thats impossible.

no weapon can be under 2 sec reload without a slice.

Pistols are too broken, i hate it.

A weaponsmith master makes a big diff. The HAM cost on my 19-208 dmg 4.4 spd laser carbine is 30/49/24.

If you don't have a master weaponsmith on yer server, just wait, and make alot of money to pay for the weapons when the come available.

Carbineer here, currently working my way through the first level of all 4 disciplines and am seeing its getting harder and harder to progress.

Luckily I got a great DH17 carbine (75 - 175) with good (for a Carbine above CDEF) HAm drains (40-55-35).

Still though, this is WAYY too high, ive seen pistols that do that kind of damage and the HAM drains are no where near. It's getting ever so harder to solo above any weapon above CDEF as I have to sit for 4 mins.

I would have liked to see stats to raise as your skill progresses maybe get about 50 new HAM points that you can juggle around everytime you gain a box in the Eilite catagory to upkeep with the higher drain weapons that we (unfortunately) have to start using to make a living and not to spend hours gaining little skill.

Well i am currently using a DH17 snubnose with decent stats when in groups and my trusty CDEF when soloing seems to work prety well. With some well placed shots i can do a fair amount of damage with DH17 before i have to stop using specials. Cant wait for the update though, although by that time the weaponsmith i work with will hopefully be able to make E11 or EE3s

I just got an EE3 (By Woofie, a little plug he makes great stuff) and it is amazing its faster does more damage and has a lower HAM cost that a DH17. I would highly recommend checking out the EE3's. As an aside is anyone making the DXR6 or elite carbines yet? Haven't seen any and am curious about them more than anything.
