Thread: Leg Shot 2 or Full Auto Single 1 ?
Which isa better choice? Ive never really followed the Cariber line before. Im at Expert in the Markman line right now (I knwo this forum is for the profession, but i thought who better to answer my question)
I am using an E11, 48-114 dam, 3.0 spd, 31 39 19 HAM values, and i am a wookie with 1200 action and 900 health and 700 mind.
IM not sure of the difference in the two attacks, save that the full auto appears to go anywhere, and legshot stays on action.
That *is* the difference. Normal shots are random hit locations, with a slight preference towards health. Full auto is normal shots on steroids. Leg shots, however, are action targetted with bonus damage -- but not as much bonus as full autos.
Therefore, Full auto does, on a per-shot basis, more damage than Leg shot 2. However, it does it on the normal distribution of pools, and so in a solo situation or one where you have others able to target action, Leg shot will kill faster despite its lower damage. In a mixed group (and thus most likely targetting health, since anybody can sort of target health with normal shots), Full auto does appreciable damage, good enough that it doesn't matter that you're spraying it into action and mind occasionally.
I find that Full auto is the perfect Lair destroyer. But I usually stick to Legshot2 for the enemies.
Heya Neo, hope your house came back.
I use the legshots in direct concert with the spec level actionshot1 and carbineer novice leg shot 2. Leg shot2 is an improvement over 1, and actionshot1 is a decently powerful bleed that will bleed every 10 or so seconds (never actually timed it, could be 30 seconds) for the value displayed when you lay the bleed on. essentially it gives you another shot every few seconds into the action pool.
Full auto has a nice dmg multiplier but has a higher HAM cost. The legshots are more efficient for soloing, especially when you get the spec carbine level and get that first bleed.
Working with another carbineer is very nice. Havnig 2 people dumping dmg and bleeds into the action pool takes mobs down quickly (of course, thats true of anyone and every weapon type...).
Look me up in game if you need carbineer training, I've got nearly all 1st tier boxes filled and keep forgetting to train my tier 2 boxes when i'm in town.

Soloing - LS2 brings em down the fastest, BUT, keep an eye on the weapons special shot costs, i missed that when i started. Ouch. First thing i look at when purchasing weapons now lolol
Small Group - with 3 or 4 people agree to target 1 spacific pool, saves time.
Large Group - FAS is the best choice asthe largest percentage of everyone else's shotsare most likely nailing the health pool as well.
